I really appreciate the fact that your editing appears seamless. It's totally unnoticeable until you see some minor board condition change, or the rope there suddenly. It probably helps that you don't "over talk" meaning that there's enough silent space to make good cuts. Regardless, I know that it must take a while to edit, and I wanted you to know that your work is appreciated.
It's good to see Persistent Petitioners persisting in petitioning, demanding justice against their adversary. Good times. Also, I am tickled pink that there's a Millstone themed Island art now. What a time to be alive.
I both love and hate that this deck is better than a "classic" Mill deck, but oh well. xD Great video as always, and I also really appreciate that you care about the basic land art, just another reason why your videos are the best!
with the 1st build before you went petitioners was cacophony not a card yet? I cant see not playing at least 1 more than likely 2 if you run Bru? the ability to just OOOOPs i win! seems fairly good
I wonder if the card that copies legendary creature and planeswalkers for 4 mana (forgot the name) would fit into this deck? Worst case scenario you copy petitioner, best case scenario you copy the "advisor lord" and quadruple the mill effect for 1MillKO. E.g. in game 1 if you had a copy in hand, you would win after chump blocking. Also new tribal horn artifact (again, forgot the name) might be pretty interesting here as well, it reduces the cost of all petitioners to 1, and occasionally draws extra card per turn. Basically it's a bit worse than lord on turn 3, but can perhaps let you draw him for turn 4. And since it discounts him as well, you can play lord + 2 petitioners on turn 4 to immediately mill.
Problem with Spark Double is that we can't play it and activate on turn four, so it doesn't speed up the kill and is often worse than another Petitioner. Horn has potential, especially in grindy matchups.
@@LegenVD But you can play and activate spark double on turn 5. From my understanding, activating on turn 5 not always guarantees a win. But I guess it"s not really necessary.
What do you think about shimmer of possibility in order to hit bruvac faster? i used to play it in mill to get drowned secrets quickly. (stopped played mill when every second deck was running escape cards)
I don't think this works, but can you play a Bruvac with another Bruvac on board then in response to being forced to sacrifice a Bruvac, activate petitioners to quadruple mill? Idk if that is allowed
It usually is, just get ready for the tide of goblins and white life gain. Life gain is likely the most prolific deck in the format, but you do run into a number of fun off color decks in platinum and even diamond.
For a while I've wanted to build an esper advisor tribal with Tomik and Atris. It's probably gonna be really terrible and a huge waste of wildcards. I can't wait.
I will opt for playing mill, even though my friends have been very persistent in advising me not to... I think i blue(blew) my chance at hitting mythic though...
i was about to spend all my rares and mythics to get a muxus deck but i know that shit is about to get restricted. every historic match i play is 50/50 muxus or field of the dead
Couldn’t agree more. I see so many people flexing for getting to mythic with mono red, blue, green, goblins etc. They’re basically playing the percentage of wins as opposed to actually skill. I’ve been getting to diamond 1 with esper control - now that’s skill!
Yeah jumpstart being added to the historic meta seems like a double edged sword. Its nice to have all these new cards to play around with but it also created this super fast boring meta where everyones playing like 3 decks

This deck actually punishes new trend in meta, what is playing solitaire decks with no or almost no interaction.
this deck doesnt have a single interactive card itself though
Quire a few decks still play wrath effects though
Wait a minute... the new trend in (historic) meta is Goblins, with some Goblins, and every so often more Goblins.

Goblins don't even seem to be the best deck, everyone is playing it, but its winrate is withing the reasonable boundaries.

That was fun!
Maybe add scheming to find Bruvac?
Need to play Petitioner on turn two, so our card selection has to be one mana.
have you thought going self mill with thassa's oacle?

No there's no window to use abilities or cast spells.
This is like a destilled version of Magic at its worst. I can't imagine why I'd ever want to play this format.
Bruvac's 4 mythic WC cost and the lonely 5gold made me feel second-hand ouchies

its literally goblins 80% of the games. we need a ban yet again
