The ultra really is a fantastic tool. Everyone who has owned one says the same. I use mine every week for ratting and rabbits and it just keeps doing the job. My shooting buddy uses an fx and he is constantly commenting on my shooting. This mod will transform it thank you sir
Now that is what I call a garden plinking set up! It beats my paper target stuck to an old phone book with parcel tape and bit of plywood behind it by a country mile.
Cylinder aside, what a brilliant target stand!! just put the discs on line so you can reset from your firing point and you never have to leave your seat! great work mate,
That would look AWESOME with an Huma ( formally Huub ) shroud on , just bought one for my Goldstsr SE , whisper quiet , and ( might be a placebo effect ) as accurate as hell , you can then have a spare silencer for another project . Love that target setup you've got . Excellent
Hi Michael. Sorry for the tardy reply, I somehow missed your comment. The air cylinder was purchased from Airtech Rifles (UK). This is the 365mm Titanium version and comes in at around £160. Expensive, I know, but well worth it for the weight saving over the steel version. 👍
Hi Tony, Your Ultra looks Good, I see you have kept the moderator on, is that a Weihrauch , is there good clearance between the air chamber and Moderator Cheers .
Hi Brian. I don't own that Ultra anymore - it went to a very deserving buyer but, I do wish I still owned it now. It is indeed a Weihrauch and, as much as people said it would not fit above the shroud, it did indeed fit. 👍
hi..can the same be done to the Ultra, and is it a hard or simple procedure...great setup by the way...oh...what would be a ball park figure to do it...thanks..keep on plinking
Hi adrahc. Yes, as far as I am aware all of the Ultra cylinders are inter-changable. Thanks for the compliment on my setup. As far as prices go, I bought a 365mm Titanium cylinder for mine which wasn't cheap at around GBP150.00 but, the weigh saving far out stripped the cost, adding just 60gm to the weight of the original 170mm cylinder. The procedure is as simple as you could imagine and will take about 5 - 10 minutes to complete. I even managed to do mine without removing the action from the stock. XTX Air have various video's on the BSA Ultra. This is a useful one... ua-cam.com/video/AO6ibgt7VoU/v-deo.html As I mentioned, you don't necessarily have to remove the action from the stock. Just loosening the mounting bolt is all that's required. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. 👍
Hi Tom. I mistakenly said 'Scorpion' at the start of this video. It is, in fact my BSA Ultra SE Multishot. I can assure you it is an absolute doddle to fit an extended air cylinder to either the Scorpion or the Ultra. It took me about 10 minutes, and 5 of those were spent dry-firing the rifle to empty the original cylinder. The task couldn't be easier. 👍
Hi Garry. I purchased it from Airtech Rifles UK.... www.airtechrifles.co.uk/ Unfortunately, their website has been under reconstruction for quite some time and no contact details are available. 🤔
@@LPGexpert OK many thanks, I will see what I can find, what I've been looking at considering is replacing the standard barrel and cylinder with one from a scorpion.
Hi Stephen. I purchased the air cylinder from Airtech Rifles in the UK... www.airtechrifles.co.uk/services-shop/ Mine is the 365mm Titanium version and, for all of the extra length, because it's titanium, it only adds about 40g to the weight of the rifle. Extremely simple to fitt too, with no special tools required. 👍
How long is your silencer? I make my own air gun silencers out of carbon fibre to any specifications. I was thinking of using the 165mm air cylinder, so something to get a gauge would be great! cheers, that gun looks awesome!
Hi Robert. The moderator is a standard Weihrauch Sport, so it's about 197mm long. I eventually replaced the moderator with a full-length barrel shroud, which made the rifle look even better. Hope that helps.
@@stephenanderton4603 got it off a guy on Ebay, if you can't find him goggle it , there are various lengths, even titanium ones but thay are expensive, 😁👍
Not quite sure how you can find the music annoying when it's -30dB lower than the rest of the audio. 🤔 Hope you enjoyed the rest of the video all the same. Thanks for watching. 👍

Hi Bessa10
Yes, I did go a bit over-board with it. But it does make for a brilliant backstop. 👍
@@LPGexpert It's very creative, hours of fun to be had both making and using. I like what you've done with the Ultra to increase the shots per fill.
