Making a shroud for the BSA R10

- Hi guys got a video here for you today on the BSA R10 and in this one we make a shroud for it. The rifle is now complete, the shroud finishes the rifle off nicely and makes it look a little more presentable.

Nice to see, I'm in the process of make a 30mm OD carbon shroud for my FAC r10. Do you find the two small breather holes at the back help quite it down?
Yes, they help with both quieting down the rifle slightly, and with removing the turbulent air from behind the pellet. Thanks for watching

Do you sell those shrouds? I've been looking at doing one myself with a carbon tube and using the adaptor from.the r10 ccs but like the finish on this one and only looking as a cosmetic item as happy with current silencer etc

Thanks, not sure really, shrouds range from around £50 - £100. This one was fairly simple though so probably towards the lower end of that. Thanks for watching.

it was about 50mm on the r10 the more you can get there the quieter it will be but also longer

What glue is used for carbon - metal bond?
We rough up both the aluminium and inside of the carbon tube with sandpaper then use 2 part epoxy for the glue. Thanks for watching.

Would you consider helping me with a shroud for a BSA buccaneer here in the USA!...I took the fixed factory Moderator( bakelite) off and now I am stuck with nowhere to go.......I will send all parts and cover costs as well as your fees!

That's the SE version so it never had a bright steel barrel and it had a screw on narrow barrel shroud and silencer (moderaitor) as standaerd, so why did you waste time making something you got with the gun, other than in terms of some cosmetics, but then remove the B.S.A. silencer ? If you really had the time and money to do this, why not get the Huma air one, it will drop you the decibels only slightly more than the B.S.A. but it does look better.
because we converted it from .22 to .177 and we wanted a longer barrel to make it more efficient so the standard se shroud wouldn't fit anymore , i can make one for a fraction of the cost of the huma so why would i buy one
