You need to mix it with a mixer and dough hooks- add cooking sherry and also white pepper and a little bit of baking soda .... massage the chicken a lot. Also should marinate over night. That’s what we did at work

I just did this with the baking soda cooking sherry white pepper and the dough hook. It turned out amazing the dough hook you have to run it for a little while but it breaks the chicken down and pulls it apart so it’s easy to rip apart with your metal spatula on the grill.

Love it but they forgot the most important part that we love about Sarku Japan Teriyaki Chicken in the mall and that is the Teriyaki sauce, its not just the marinade they add the amazing Teriyaki sauce at the end on the griddle and I always had them add extra sauce on the top of mine at the end too.

Thanks guys. This was exactly what I needed. $10 for a plate of "Mall" food. I got 10lbs of dark meat for $12, 25lb bag of rice for $20, add some steamed broccoli and cabbage. Roughly $1 per meat serving. Times are tough.

I can't bring myself to pour remaining marinade with raw chicken juice on to partially cooked chicken. Maybe save a half cup of marinade from the beginning before the raw chicken goes in, and use that to pour over it toward the end.

Very much appreciated, ty. Nate has the " official " background. From catering to being part of a family restaurant , Chris I are more certified in " fun" backgrounds . I would like to think without my mumbling / repeating myself and Chris's mastery of words that we dubbed "chris'isms" the channel would not be nearly as much fun . Chris and Nate are neighbors in south east NH , I however could not afford there neighborhood so I'm a few miles away across the border in Ma😁. We are always thinking of doing an event, just never commit. That may change and we will definitely post if it does. Thanks again

here is how i do it. i go order a chicken teriyaki from sarku then I requested for triple or quadruple meat portions. Then I would split all the meat into several meal portions. I just cook the rice and steam some veggie then add a portion of chicken meat to it. This way I know I am getting the authentic taste.. Save alot of money. The amount of meat im getting would last 5 extra meals.

That is absolutely NOT chicken teriyaki from the mall , I just bought 3 orders and they fry the chicken in a way darker very thin sauce and continuous flipping and mixing so it doesn't burn to dark then they pick it up with 2 spatula's and put it on top of the rice and veggies then add extra sauce , it's not the marinating sauce , it's a in house teriyaki sauce and he would not tell me what it is , I'm pissed.
