Post op two weeks on my second eye. I'm 20/20 in my left eye and 20/25 in my right eye so far. Considering my extreme near-sightedness, this is more than amazing. I opted for the Panoptix trifocal lenses after much research. So far, wow! It's night and day. Literally! Thanks for the videos. I've learned a ton.
I’m about to have the panoptic trifocal lens and I am super scared can someone please let me know if it’s worth it I don’t understand all these measurements my first surgery is July 16
Many thanks for very useful and actual information
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for your AI IOL advisor. It validated my research so far that a monofocal lens would be right for me. Are you planning to add a recommendation for optimal target refraction range based on the user's data? I liked the "key points to discuss with your doctor" as I have an ophthalmolgist appt next week.
many thanks for your feedback! sure, it is in the pipeline.
a lot of things to be added.
As always, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. These decisions are daunting for many patients and as you say, knowledge is power.
You didn't mention Clearview 3 (SBL 3). Where does this lens fit into the scheme and could you share your experience?
Good question. It is bifocal with high near add, so basically it is a full range of vision lens with lack of good intermediate by design.
which one do you consider best LUCIDIS vs. CLEARVIEW 3 vs. VIVITY Please advise sir
absolutely different IOLs by patient target.
so, the best one for you will depend on your medical records and visual needs and expectations.
We may discuss deeper, will be happy to help

My surgeon has recommended the Oculentis lens. I read there were problems with opacification with these lenses a few years ago.Has this problem been fixed now with the latest Oculentis lenses?
Can you please explain the difference between Mono-focal plus and mono-focal?
done in the video about advanced and enhanced monofocal IOLs - loos on the channel
Considering the dysphotopsias associated with multifocal lenses and concentric circles, would you consider J&J Eyhance monofocal a reasonable compromise?
Yes, if you prefer dysphotopsia free vision and ready to use reading glasses or distance in case of myopic refractive target shift.
@@iol-adviser Is there any complication in fabricating progressive spectacles to correct for the decrease in distance visual acuity if using Eyhance in non-dominant eye to match the clarity of the standard Technis monofocal IOL in the dominant eye?
Dr. how could I get a price list of your IOL procedures?
According to your estimate, how many years will it take for lenses with accommodation capability to arrive?
I have been wearing mono vision contacts for 40 years with astigmatism in the left (far vision) eye. Is it possible to continue with mono vision after cataract surgery and avoid the very expensive premium lenses?
You are not obligated to get premium lenses. It's a personal choice and you can continue to use monovision if you wish. You should discuss it with a eye doctor but, you shouldn't be pressured or obligated to get a "premium lens".
Take care and good luck.
what's about tecnis Odyssey multifocal iol
