You’re parked in a handicap spot

Often when I park in a handicap parking spot, people knock on my window to notify me that I’m parked in a handicap spot. “You’re parked in a handicap spot” and my response is “yes, I know, look at my plate” or “I know, I’m handicapped.” Sometimes this is followed up with an apology but often not. I want to spread awareness that disabled bodies are all different and we’re parked here for a reason.
