Thanks for the advice! Im actually working on setting up being a web host. Ive designed sites in the past, but might look to offset that task with someone else eventually. Either way, stumbled upon this video just to add some possible ways to generate leads that I may not be aware of. Should have known Networking would have been the top choice, but cant discount easy to print, low cost business cards either. As archaic as they are, they can be effective if used in the right situations and the right time. For example, one strangey that I may use (for more than one business) is taking those cards to some events and approach some of the venders. I wont disclose what industries Im thinking of, but the ones Im thinking of host a lot of mom and pop and bootstraped business that I think wouldn't mind some affordable help so they can concentrate on their core business 😉 TL;DR, Thank you for giving me another spark towards this new venture. I want to find a country with not that much competition, high volume of money and high demand.
That's a good question! I'm not sure about any markets besides the US really. I'm sure there are clients everywhere. But your best bet would be going somewhere you can speak the language very well, and just focus in on that area. Wish I could be more helpful!

Facebook ads is something I’m still in the process of learning, mainly doing organic at the moment, as soon as I feel comfortable with FB ads I’ll definitely do that though!

You should follow both! Follow some other web designers that have great work and post educational content. That way you can stay up to date with industry trends and learn from the best. And also follow people who might be a good potential client. Like their photos and send them a conversation starter text
