Cheers Steve. Yes a good setup that was knocking down a fair amount of grass. Unfortunately the blue skies have disappeared today, back to the rain again! Cheers, David.
Thank you Jacob. It is a different location for me but long before I started filming video I used to visit the farm regularly and take photos in the summer. Mind you the tractors have changed considerably but they were still using the Jaguar 75 chopper which indeed I did manage to capture on film the next day so will be posting that soon. Thanks again my friend, cheers David.
Yes nice tractor Chris. The full fleet is immaculate, will be uploaded the chopping video (Claas Jaguar drag chopper) later in the week. Cheers, David.
Hi Des, as always good to hear from you. Yes grass was a very good crop, wet but warm weather gave it a spurt on! Ah that’s great, hopefully it’ll be a good week, would like to get out if it is! Back to miserable rain here tonight though! Cheers as always, Dave.
Good evening David, and hope that as usual your well. I can now see where my one day of good weather has went, as you appear to have dragged it down to Cumbria, although I am sure I shared some of the dark clouds and rain with you too. 😂. That looks like a great crop of grass and being cut just at the correct stage too, and I am sure it will make some great forage. Loved seeing the New Holland T7.210 which I love the sound of, which I think is because I hear my neighbours so much as although he has a mixed fleet of New Holland and Claas tractors, he has about 6 x NH T7 210s and has just added 2 x NH T7 230s. The Krone mower was sure working well, and considering the density of the crop, both machines were just having a simple ride in the park and able to keep the pace without trying. Are there many farmers down your way still using trailed mowers, as up here we never seem to see many now that everyone has front linkage/PTOs. Thanks as always David from a wet and windy Aberdeenshire. Cheers, Fraser.
And a very good evening to you too Fraser I’m very well as I hope you are yourself. Well it’s certainly not wet and windy here in Cumbria tonight, in fact it’s blazing sunshine as I write this reply though it was a shocking day for rain yesterday (never two days the same recently!) so yes I think we’ve have certainly shared the same clouds! It was a lovely crop of grass, cut just at the right time and I was lucky to see it picked up the next day so that video will be coming soon. Yes the NH T7.210 has a great engine note, very popular in this area and your neighbour must like them too by the sound of that fleet. Yeh Krone mower flying through the grass, very clean cut and tidy windrows that were ideal for rowing up two into one ahead of the forager. Theres still a few trailed mowers in these parts Fraser, I can think of four off the top of my head but the front/ rear mounted and triple setups seem more common now especially if there’s a large acreage to cut and a self-propelled forager following them. Hopefully the wet and windy weather will pass soon, last week up here was shocking and the silage season has been a bit of smash and grab so far but I’ve taken every opportunity to get out and get some filming done when it’s been a good day so I’m probably going to start posting twice a week now (probably my usual Thursdays and now Sundays) as have built up a good few videos to share. As always Fraser a pleasure to communicate with you, take care my friend, speak soon. Cheers, David.
@@davidwinthrop7077 It sure does sound as if we are sharing the same weather David and as you say, it flip flops more often than I change my socks. Yeah my neighbour sure does like the NH products and it goes away back to the true Ford days, but then again we do have a NH Main Dealer in the next village, so that helps too. Glad you have been getting out to film as much as you would like, which is great for you and the likes of me and your followers too. If your going to be posing twice a week I better get my finger out and keep up as I've been helping the neighbour again with a shed build,(who said retirement was an easy life), hence my slow reply's to your messages. Thanks as always David. Cheers, Fraser.
@@frasermathers2287 Haha, you must get through a lot of socks then Fraser! Yes it’s certainly changeable at the moment, sunny last night, wet this morning and sunny again now! Ah always handy having a main dealer on your doorstep, lot’s of NH Lloyd branches round here as well as Carrs Billington MF ones so obviously their popular machines with the local community. I’ve enjoyed getting out these last few weeks and have about six videos edited and ready to post so hopefully time they’re all on the channel I’ll (weather permitting) have filmed a few more. One to go on tomorrow morning and then my usual Thursday post so have a watch before your three shredded wheat which you’ll probably need before working on that shed! I’m looking forward to my retirement in about six years time but in another way the better half will have me working at home all the hours of the day! Thank you Fraser, enjoy the rest of the day and don’t work too hard tomorrow! Cheers, David.
Hi Stuart. I’m afraid I can’t give the info on the location away as I always promise the farmers who kindly allow me to post the videos that I will keep their names and farm anonymous. It’s a lovely location though as there are many of in Cumbria. Cheers, David.
Very colour full video David, blue skies yes more please, lovely set up there with NH and Krone doing a fine job at speed, cheers Steve 🎥🚜

That’s a little off your usual patch, always like to catch their drag chopper, great video David!
