Are you aware of a dual push to talk baofeng compatible mic similar to this with the earpiece plug in? Mono is fine with me as I only want to run one ear plug.
That connection wouldn't last one shift as a LEO! The two pin adapter would come unplugged the first time you exerted any physical effort. Even getting into our out of your car would disconnect it. Maybe some type of heat shrink tubing over it or something to lock it into place would work better.
