Your wire should not be showing at all. It should be run underneath the shirt with the PTT being attached where your shirt buttons are located with the microphone showing. The balance of the wire goes back into the shirt with only the clip, which is centered on the back of the neck and attached to the back of the shirt collar, and the ear piece is then brought around to the ear. This way the minimal amount of wire is visible to your guest.
