    BQA = Beef Quality Assurance. Securing a bar or rope behind the animal's backend can minimize the backups and keep the animal from moving about as much.

    In dairy cattle , a whorl below the eyes usually means more dairy, a whorl above the eyes means stronger .

    I enjoyed watching. I just started my farming channel. On our farm, we only castrate the bull we arr keeping to eat.

    Is there a reason you wait to band them at this age vs when they are small ?

      We sale breeding bulls so we wait to see how they look at 10 months.

    Also I am surprised that you are giving them all there shots like the conventional guys do despite that you are the exact opposite of conventional. With your healthy soil, plants and controlled grazing that should be plenty to keep them healthy
