Another great time-lapse it's amazing how your cattle just dig into the snow for food.
Glad you enjoyed it
It is one of the most beautiful things in the world - cows grazing the way they are supposed to. The wind breaks using running gears is a simple and effective innovation. The time lapse is a great way to monitor plus it is enjoyable to watch over the grazing period. Thanks you..
Couldn't agree more!
Thanks for the snow pictures. That’s as close us Georgia boys ever get to the white stuff. When it gets near 32 degrees, we start to panic.
If your not prepared it really can be a headache for sure. Lately here if it calls for 3" of everyone is in panic. I remember driving to work in 18" of snow. Thanks for the support!
Looks cold!
I think it is colder at your farm.
It looks cold and windy. I truly hope it never gets to 23 below zero. The wind breaks work very well.
Thanks for watching!
Those wind breaks are the cat’s meow, sure could have used some a couple wks ago the wind was brutal. Will be looking to fabricate some this yr.
Don't use them very much, But when you need them you need them. Thanks for watching.
North central PA, Friday evening, January 26, 2024-most of our snow has melted and our state "stone" road is muddy ruts.
We have mud on some parts of the farm! I see a lot of muddy pastures this year.
@@RussWilsonmid afternoon tuesday 30 january 2024, we were blanketed with snow on sunday on muddy road. Very slip-slidey where ground remains thawed.
Hello! Can you recommend anything for pink eye? Thank you!
A really good loose mineral. If you get pinkeye in the herd treat it soon as you see it. I spray penicillin directly in the eye treat with la 200 and patch the eye to reduce spread of the disease. It's a hard one to treat after it gets started.
Once again proff that cattle don’t need to be in a barn or mud lot getting pampered. Also a lot less work hauling manure and round bales. It’s all about management and thinking outside the box.
That's what it is all about! Thanks for watching!
