The airstream trailer gets less than 2 minutes of time in this entire documentary.
This documentary is not about airstream trailers. It's about furniture design.

43:01 is when they talk about Airstream trailers. They must have been much lighter than they are now because they is footage of just a car car towing a big one.
That car probably had a V-8 with plenty of torque.

I knew most of this info I went to college for graphic design and we learned about Art from this time period and furniture was a big part of it. I did not like your video because it was misleading because of the title. I thought it would be a little on design and mostly about air stream trailers but it was 95% on design and about 3 minutes on the Air Stearm trailer
I attended design school in the 1970s. This presentation is much better.
There is a huge misconception that Airstream trailers are light. They are actually heavier than their less expensive counterparts.
1st airstream is 4 minutes from the end. Bait and switch.

We had a neighbor (35 years ago) who lived in an Airstream. It was amazing, inside and out.
Every Spring he would wash the exterior and buff it to mirror brightness. It took a whole weekend.

i was hoping to buy some land and put a caravan on it but no one will help me.. i have no idea how to buy land... i only want like half an acre maybe (UK).. grow some vegetables, maybe stay weekends... put up a shed... maybe have a stone/clay oven or something... i also thought about having a campervan for travel around europe... but what with all the price increases and fuel costs and brexit i dunno if it will be worth it? too expensive?

Corporate greed is at an all time high. We threw a tea party one time because we didn't like how our leaders where abusing us. It's like being forced to play monopoly when you know the game is rigged but you stop playing you perish, you keep playing you get to play a little longer but perish none the less...

In this video they didn't design things for people either. They designed things for looks.
We design them to be cheap and that way they break or fall apart faster and so long as it lasts just long enough the corporations consider they have done their job. This is because you will buy another. I personally don't buy cheap Chinese crap and don't buy useless stuff anymore. I think consumerism is an awful way to live.

Don’t know about being affordable. Cost is 63000 USD for a Bambi trailer the cheapest they have that is before taxes, registration etc. It is the smallest at 16 feet that has a bathroom also. There are many trailers that might not by aluminum but cost less then 30000 that will last a very long time and are actually longer. 21 foot and has more comfortable amenities.
Yeah, we've got loads of those in Europe. Not.

You titled this video Airstream the best for living homes on wheels. But you only had a 3 minute segment on the Airstream. Such a poor 💩 waste of my time. You spent 8 times more on making chairs and discussing a building in Germany than on the Airstream.
I got one of my best gay jokes ever from a three legged chair. My first job in San Jose was a father drive than I wanted and not as good a company, so when I saw that my boss had removed my stole it was time to exit that s* hole.
Good documentary if I wasn’t specifically looking for it to be about the title. Your chair looked good but wasn’t comfortable. Thumbs down from me.
