When I was in HS, I dated a young lady who said "you remind me of that guy from "Dirty Harry"". I immediately brushed my hair back with one hand and said "Clint Eastwood???" No, the maniac. Happily married and the father of 5 from ANOTHER girl. lol
I grew up on Dirty Harry. Unfortunately Hollywood can't make movies like this anymore. The PC crew would freak the hell out crying too much violence, among other things. Shame, that. I like to think that "Dirty" Harry Callahan and the Man With No Name from the century before are one and the same man. The nameless Western drifter's name is Harry Callahan - an Immortal being from parts unknown - but because he was a bountyhunter making so many enemies he retired his birth name for the sake of anonymity. By the 1950's when he joined SFPD all his enemies were long dead and he started using his own name again because by this time everyone is recorded somewhere. The Man With No Name - variably called "Manco" or "Joe" - and Harry Callahan are one and the same man. An immortal with a hunger for justice served up his own way.
I really think they should get someone to write a screenplay for a new movie starring Clint's grandson and have him be an inspector and he has to turn to his Grandfather for advice and direction. There could be a scene in which Dirty Harry gets out the old Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum and hands it over to his Grandson.
Excellent video. Captures the theme of the time without getting involved in silly political analysis. Harry Callaghan was a guy in a white hat, but used 'black hat' methods to put right wrongs. Fantasy ? …. yeah … what's so wrong with that ?
"Scorpio" Andy Robison deserves mucho credit, and sympathy for putting up w/idiots reciting that line to him. And for the writer/director for the motorcycle cop scene. Powerfully creepy!!!!

If you were a fan of X-Men the animated TV show wolverine was basically dirty harry
If we had cops like harry nowdays, no problems.
Clint for president....🇮🇹🇺🇸
People have become so "liberal" now, that hardly anyone ever talks about the DH films whenever Clint Eastwood movies are discussed.
I'm kinda left leaning myself but I always enjoy Clint Eastwood movies he, AL Pacino, Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro are legends.
Eu sou fã deste excelente e carismatico artista e talentoso.o eterno harry calahan.

"What does a girl have to do to go to bed with you?" Hahaha You just did it honey.
I dunno Arnold…thought he was eating a Hot Dog….😂😂😂😂
" Smith..........Wesson...........and me."
We need those vigilante cops in every major city in the US, put the lawyers, courts, and private prisons out of business.
I just love how Arnold pronounces the word "hamburger"
Caddie’ed on golf tour 75’ 76’ , clint is a great golfer, he had all the women following him. He’s as big as the screen in real life.
Dan Tanner!
We can thank Dirty Harry for the 1982 Presidential Task Force on Victims of Crime and Victim Impact Statements.
“......and justice for all...” METALLICA
The move was made when he did Cougans Bluff.
miss Spencer for hire
It was a hotdog Aronold.
I wonder what Harry’s views would be on the current PC Woke stupidity now😉
Arnold: he was eating a hotdog, not a hamburger.
