- We already had 10 Iconic, 10 Hardest and 10 Easy Metallica riffs. Here are 15 levels of easy to hard Metallica guitar riffs for you guys! ... if you want to master the Metallica technique step by step ;) We are looking at some true classics such as For Whom The Bell Tolls, Enter Sandman, Fade to Black, Master Of Puppets, Dyer's Eve, Blackened and The Four Horsemen! The choices are based on my personal classification, so of course you can have a different opinion on that list haha. For me the hardest riff definitely was "Dyer's Eve" and the easiest "For Whom The Bell Tolls"!
All riffs are produced by myself. I didn't use Metallica's original songs.

Accidents happen I guess xD I always record 2-3 takes per riff and it happens in rare occasions that I mess up the right with the wrong take. 2 seconds in this video are off ;) Just as a hint.

Cool list! Maybe it'd be a nice add-on to describe why one riff is harder than the other. I know speed is a thing but there're other aspects that defines a hard or an easy riff.

The Metallica difficulty curve seems more like a difficulty wall. xD Easy, easy, playable | Blackened haha. I really need to finally learn MoP. I don't have the stamina for it, but I won't get there unless I try. This has been a very inspirational video, so thank you. It was an excellent idea. Working through these would do anyone a lot of good. Beautifully played too, of course. It sounds completely awesome! \m/
Well before Blackened there was Disposable Heroes and let me tell you: You need LOTS of stamina for playing that song xD
You have to practice the stamina with a metronome and downpicking
@@groso452 no, alternative picking stamina is something really different compared to down picking stamina. You need totally different muscles for that. but that's just my opinion.

Honestly getting the stamina for everything except the solo (because I haven't even started on that) isn't too hard. After a few weeks it'll be there if you have a few runs a day.
For me, "Blackened" is their toughest riff to play, at tempo, with the correct emphasis.
This was top quality 🤘
What about Dyer’s Eve?

I love how you have a blast playing songs.. People dont know you have to learn the song and only when you master it you can headbang and play at the same time!!!

Every time your new list I’m impressed with the widespread knowledge of metal riffs you chose. You have nailed the Hetfield tone it’s genuinely insane how accurate it is, all the riffs were played as one song, but this song has one drawback, it ends.=) Absolute ease of movement of hands and awesome dancing fingers, each chord performed is a piece of pure gold… I understand that tomorrow at breakfast I will have big problems, because from such purity of sounding my lower jaw dropped, and I still can't find it =) the effort you put in producing your videos so professionally, top sound quality. Jassy, I want to say that you're amazing as always, congrats on your personal riff list from easy to hard. Awesome job. As to other Metallica riff list, I have two suggestions:
1. You could do a video like this, a riff list from easy to hard, but from underrated Metallica songs.
Or
2. A riff list from easy to hard, but from one song of each Metallica's album (from the first album to the latest album).
I guess it could be a cool content in the future, I'm not sure if anyone has ever done something like this before, but who knows.
I know both must take a lot of time to be done, however you rock. (:

Just wanted to add a Good Story! My Brandon at work was going to (Propose a Very Important question.) to his Lady and wanted to sing a song written and performed by himself. I told him to use this Metallica song. ( Land mine took my legs..took my arms...take the ring!) He did giggle his ash off though. Turned out on the way to the Lake he had to put on the Superman cape to help others after they rolled their Vehicle. He lost the ring as it fell out of his pocket. Had to drive back to this accident scene and found it in the ditch. I told him it has to be Devine Intervention bud. The ditch gives nothing back to nobody! Just a Black Hole there. I'll watch this young bucks back anytime. This Riff ripping Lady has my over watch any and every time. Cheers Dove and do please Rock On!
