Me too! I'm very pale and it's not that I don't like it, it's that makeup, especially contouring is soo different from everyone else in the coloring

I'm black / dark skinned. And I always wondered why people who are extremely pale hate their skin color. I THINK IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL! 👍

I cant speak for everyone but for me it's hard to fit in. I'm an extremely pale latina and I get made fun of a lot, I can't ever wear shorts without someone making some stupid comment on the color of my skin, I get the," woah, you just blinded me with your skin!" Or, "you scared me I thought I saw a ghost" or the one I get the most often, "you're Mexican shouldn't you be darker?! Can you not tan?". I'm not saying I hate my skin color because I really do like it, I just dislike the way people treat us pale skin people, also not to say that we're the only ones that get made fun of.
Because being tanned is seen as beautiful in the west :(
Oh yeah, my sister used to call me casper and Uncle Fester (because I also have really dark undereyes). She has a darker olive skin tone/hair from my mom and my other sister and I have dark blond and fair skin from our dad. But I'm the super pale/unable to tan one.
Veins are showing more, dark circles are darker, everything red on your face is really bringing the attention to it, hard to find the tone of the foundation, usually easily burns at the sun, getting "Are you loosing the consciousness?" at the blood analysis take, some anti "compliments" like you looking as ghost, do not wear the skirt untill you get some tan (in my country people still prefer to be tanned) etc. But I don't think that people actually hate it. It's just that we all whine sometimes about some problems we have with hair, skin, etc ;)

I absolutely love being very pale with black eyes and hair, but finding makeup that works for me is soooo hard. I've even gotten in arguments with people who don't believe that pale girls have that much trouble. Thank you so, so much for covering us ghosts!

I m pale greek and natural tan which comes by the sun each half of a year Is amazing. But rest half of the time I m embracing my natural skin color.

I used to get the same things said to me, just remember to add some glow in with highlighters and don't forget blush and you should be good to go 😘😘

I feel like you’re my beauty guru twin. Pale with warm undertones and dark hair/eyes. It’s been a struggle finding a true foundation match for my skin in ANY foundation. I feel like no one shares my skin tone and they’re never any help at Ulta and Sephora 😂
Allison Martin I have an extremely fair complexion and can barely find any foundations that are light enough for my skin tone. I have found two Estée Lauder double wear in Shell (if I am not mistaken, I know it’s their lightest one) & Shiseido synchro skin in alabaster.
I hope this will help any others struggling to find a foundation to match our complexion.
It's so annoying how paler shades of foundation (alabastar) come in smaller carriages and are more expensive.

Omg I m greek and I don't even use fake tans. I say that bc in Greece tan is very common.
There s no problem tho. I m naturally tanned each half of a year. Not that extreme, cause I m naturally pale as the girl in the vid. But I don't stress myself about it

This is so helpful, definitely gonna try that contouring tip! One quick question, in case you have any tips--I have a tonnnn of freckles on my face and foundation that matches my pale skin tone makes them look ashy. Any suggestions to keep freckles from looking weird under foundation?
Hope it works for you 😘 Would it be the wrong tone? do you need a warm tone? or maybe a warmer toned primer underneath? when it comes to freckles I like to use a sheerer foundation to help the foundation come through, especially on areas around the cheeks and nose as it's beautiful to show them, even taking Qtip and dap away foundation on some of the bigger freckles to help show up more. If you wanna send me more info of what you are using and I will try and help.
Something I do too is take a lavender liquid concealer (using the Urban decay one now but should work with any) and use it to highlight before going over it with a powder highlighter

Could you do another powder makeup routine using the true match mineral as the foundation? Since I’m in college I don’t find enough time to put on liquid foundation and powder foundation is so much faster but I’m having a hard time knowing how much to actually put on my face without it being too much!

Here’s my challenge: I have very pale skin on my neck and chest, but redness around my chin and nose. When I try to pale down my face to match my neck/chest, it can look cakey or ashy... but no amount of bronzer/blush on my neck will make it match my face, so I’m always two-toned! Help!
Same here! Sometimes I think my face looks weird with just foundation/base on since it's all flat and paler than it looks without makeup, but it looks normal after I finish the rest of my makeup, including blush, setting spray, whatevs.
I would recommend firstly trying some skin care that can reduce redness to help in the long run, there some great stuff out there that actually works, I didn't wanna believe it but I have seen them work 😘 but for now when it comes to makeup corrective primers and concealer applied first will help, a thin layer is all that is needed check this video out and see how red my face is - ua-cam.com/video/jFjPxdTXSZY/v-deo.html
you can see the corrector takes the colour down and I only used a thin layer. 😘😘

Totally agree I think more some then with medium tones fair is looks so flat once it fully covered, we loss all the tones what create dimension so it looks really odd, but totally agree once the rest of the makeup is on it's okay but when I am tanned I can just go with just foundation and it's fine fully how tones and shades work I am fascinated by it all 😘😘

Use a dark purple blue eye-shadow for contour but just a little bit lol looks good on my pale ass

I use Tough as Taupe color tattoo from maybelline. I find it is the perfect contour shade for me. I have a naturally high cheek bones so I have a shadow that I follow to use for contour. It is a perfect match; it’s kind of a Greige color. I recommend so much!! I think we are also about the same skin color too!

I have been waiting for a video like this for ages! I'm so pale and finding products is so annoying. Foundation lightening drops are my new favourite thing. You're so pretty, and your skin is so even without foundation! I hate that on my light skin every blemish and scar is so visible, I have acne and hyperpigmentation and it looks bad :(
My problem is that I'm so fair, any tiny amount of redness on my face looks terrible and shows through my foundation no matter how much green corrector I use. My acne spots nearly look like bruises through my foundation.

I’m suuuuper pale and there’s literally no cruelty free drugstore foundations that match me. Kat Von D Lock It Foundation in the lightest (not the white) skin tone saves the day. It’s too matte for my dry skin , but I can add it into other foundations that are more luminous and it’s totally fine. It lightens them up and the finish isn’t too matte. Also , it’s lasted me nearly two years and it hasn’t gone “off” yet. So for $45 it’s pretty good :)

I like bleach but I don't like the fact that jolene cream or many products have extremely harsh ingredients like petrolatum, paraffin, propylene glycolic....anyone knows a more silicon, propylene glycolic, edtas, paraffin free bleach?😭❤
