That is ironic. I thought suicide was the specific issue that would get demonitized. Combining death with severe mental illness may be too disturbing of an issue. I used to have such mental problems, and I was suicidal at worst. So from personal experience, I know how screwed up and horrifying this issue can be. Ironically, the later part of the video talks about Lavender Town. There is explicit mention of many real world kids committing suicide. That is far worse than what is implied to happen to Giovanni. Oops!

My theory is that Ho-oh is the reason Ash never wins. Eternal happiness for Ash is going on his Pokémon journey. Once he becomes champion, he has to keep defending his title, so no more widespread travel.

@Just Squid that's valid. My point was simply that being champion comes with the responsibility of defending your title (particularly in the newer games), and I think, in the long run, Ash wouldn't enjoy that aspect because it would require him to return regularly. The anime may not have that, though, so we in theory territory.
Why would Blue ever challenge Red and even go on a vacation to Alola with him if he killed his Raticate? That, psychologically, makes no sense at all unless Blues a psychopath, which he isn't.
Yeah Blue isn't the type of sociopath who'd challenge you to a battle in the middle of a hostage takeover at the Silph Company for no reason... oh wait.

Blue’s Raticate didn’t die, want proof, here it is. On the SS Anne Battle Blue says”how many Pokémon did you catch? I already registered 40 species.” This shows that Blue had simply boxed his old Pokémon
Also, as Proto pointed out, his Raticate was only level 15 or so.
Rattata doesn't evolve until level 20.
Meaning he just caught one.
Clearly Blue was doing the living dex challenge, not just a regular playthrough.

He doesn’t age because it is a cartoon. Theory solved. Also the OG Lavender Town theme nobody died because if they did holy shit people would have freaked out. If people freaked out about Jinx I wouldn’t want to know how much people would freak out about this. Lavender Town’s OG theme does have high frequency pitches that even myself listening to it hurt my head and I’m an adult.

Human Person No that one is true. That episode gave many children seizures but that makes sense. But being driven to suicide because of high frequency pitches is highly impossible and it’s even confirmed as a creepy pasta.

For the eeveeloutions ‘being’ the legendary beasts, I kinda think it’s the other way around. The kimono girls are using the eeveeloutions as representations of the beasts.

The only Eeveelution I could see dying in a fire is Leafeon, and that's because their body is made of kindling.

Yeah, it's called The Legendary Pokemon, and in the first anime what appeared to be Arcanine is included on a block with Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres (which Ash thinks is the bird he saw).
Keep in mind, though, that Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite used to be called legendary Pokémon. As late as 2001(?), the last Japanese opening of the Johto arc of the anime began with a door showing a bunch of legendaries... And Dragonair.

The theory was that Arcanine was originally supposed to be in Entei's place as one of the legendary beasts but they ended up not going through with it. Their visual designs are similar too. It's also weird how Arcanine is the only pokemon among gen 1's pokemon who had a total base stat of 555 which is the highest base stats among all pokemon that weren't legendaries or pseudo legendaries like Dragonite when most Pokemon usually capped at the 540 mark.

They don't breed in game so you can't get loads of them.
It's purely a game mechanic.
That has no impact on whether they can and do canonically breed, which they do.
Or, if not breed, then reproduce.
Entei are born from volcanic eruptions, while Zapdos and/or Raikou are born from lightning.
I theorize that the anime is a huge fan-fic by Ash as someone who's a player of the games.

That part about Kabutops not being a bug due to being based on a horseshoe crab doesn't really hold up, you want to know why? Wimpod. A bug water type also based on the horseshoe crab.
This could tie into the theory that all the Fossil types have rock type because of how they were resurrected from fossils.
Actually no, wimpod and golisopod are isopods. Isopods are crustaceans, which are closely related to insects, while horseshoe crabs are arachnids.
Its literally not a bug nor insect, and the scythes are pretty clearly inspired by eurypterids. Even if they were bug types, just like all the "spider" Pokemon, they wouldn't share the same physiology.

Fire pokemon can take damage by fire moves, being a fire pokemon makes you more resistant against fire, but it does not mean that you are immune to it.

Those are some wierd thories. I would like to add something on Dratini. It is based on the Korean concept of snakes turning into dragons as they grow up. That explans the evolution of Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite.
My theory is that vaporeon was killed by debris, and jolteon was killed by fire, while flareon was killed by rain.

Hey Ron, There is a video gnoggin made sometime ago and he said that maybe genesect is actually a golisopod instead because of the simular structure/somewhat similar color scheme and both being bug types and this made me wonder...

The one thing I thought of when I heard that is rather than being a Golisopod, Genesect is actually from an ANCESTOR of the Golisopod. We don’t know what that is yet of course
Here's a theory, were fossil pokemon all originally part rock type? Or did the Rock that their remains were trapped in during fossilization somehow influence their typing when reborn and they were actually another dual type or just their pure secondary typing.
Also it'd be really cool if fossil pokemon had a set of ancient moves they learned that non-fossil pokemon wouldn't...
I think originally it was implied the rock typing was influenced by fossilization. But now it seems that isn’t the case anymore, since I think Mega Aerodactyl is supposed to be it’s true form and it’s covered in giant stone like armor.
The problem with your theory about why Wally did not age is Looker. In ORAS, he apparently just came out of an Ultra Wormhole, and in SUMO he says that he started working on a case with Nanu and an unnamed Faller 10 years ago, which would match the original RSE placement, approximately 10 years before SUMO. I mean, now with the whole multiverse thing you can simply say "well that's yet another universe", but if we say there is only the non-mega and the mega timeline, then ORAS is still situated ~10y in the past of SUMO. My guess as to why Wally did not "age" is simply because they had the VS 3D model ready and they couldn't be bothered to design/model another one. The Battle Tree is only a barely canon post-game anyway, I doubt they put too much thoughts into it
The Golduck and Psyduck thing is thought to have gotten mixed up in production, not translation.
But production happened in Japan where Psyduck's name is Kodakku or "baby duck"
The reason why Wally doesn't age is simple: it was too much of a hassle to create a design for him - the same goes for Cynthia! What do Cynthia and Wally have in common? They both appear after the story and or NOT seen outside of the Battle Tree whereas every other older character that reappeared in the games got redesigned AND was seen outside of the building, thus had to be redesigned. Why didn't they make new Sprites for Red, Blue and essentially for every other Gym Leader in the Pokémon World Tournament in BW2? BW2's plot sets 2 years before Sun and Moon, so a change in physical appearance should have occured for every character by now.
So the reason is: Wally was too unimportant to give him a new design since he didn't contribute to any dialogue in the game outside of the Battle Tree.
PS: ORAS and Ruby & Sapphire play almost certainly at the same time, just in another universe, the "Mega-universe", so to speak.
Where did you get the Red and Green demo? I don't see it in the Cutting Room Floor.
Now, one thing I feel leaves the first theory, about the Legendary Beasts being three Eeeveelutions open to debate is the fact that just because they have these powers to avoid or stop the calamity and save themselves, doesn't necessarily mean they actually can fend off the fire for a few reasons.
First off, we've seen in the anime that just because you have a water Pokemon around, that doesn't mean Squirtle and Staryu are capable enough at stopping a burning building from burning down on their own. And even removing that one from consideration, just in general, fire is not instantly put out by water in real life just by itself. So just because Vaporeon can put out fire with water moves, that doesn't mean one Vaporeon can produce enough water to stop a whole building from burning down or even get rid of enough fire to make an escape.
Second, Flareon brings a number of questions into this, which can lend credit or discredit the theory. First off, given how abilities didn't exist in the original games, that means Flareon would have no immunity and thus, just takes damage from fire, same as anything else, even if it CAN survive in it for some time, it can't indefinitely. But, by the same logic, Gen 3 and onwards it can have Flash Fire, meaning it's immune to fire attacks in battle. But again, just because it's immune to fire attacks in battle doesn't mean it can survive indefinitely. Besides, from Gen 5 onwards, it can have the ability Guts, so it can be called into question if the Flareon would've had Guts over Flash Fire... but that's also a stretch because hidden abilities were introduced so late and are exceedingly rare in universe. So really, Flareon alone makes the theory a huge mess when bringing game logic into the mix.
Third, the Pokemon Generations animation is not concrete evidence against this theory. One side work can work vastly differently than another side work, after all. Like, the regular Pokemon anime has TONS of inconsistencies with the games, such as Aim for the Horn, Pikachu just randomly learning Volt Tackle when the move could only be bred onto Pikachu around the time, Thunder Armor, etc. The franchise won't always line up perfectly, so Pokemon Generations isn't the be all and end all source for the origin story of the Three Legendary Beasts.
And the one point about how there's multiple Entei, Suicune, and Raikou calls into question how any existing Pokemon species could apply to ANY Pokemon that is part of the species that became Entei, Suicune, and Raikou. Like, if they were all unique species that aren't any known Pokemon... why did all Smundleborps, Goofadoofs, and Blipbomps become Entei, Raikou, and Suicune? Or if they were like... Rattata. What if all three were just Rattata? It doesn't make sense to think "oh, the original Entei, Suicune, and Raikou were reincarnated from X, Y, and Z Pokemon so ALL Entei, Raikou, and Suicune HAD to have been X, Y, and Z Pokemon." I mean, legendary Pokemon having offspring is so off compared to regular Pokemon as is that the OG Entei, Raikou, and Suicune could've just bred with Pokemon that are capable of such with and then boom. Future Entei, Suicune, and Raikou are just offspring from the OG trio.
And lastly... There's the potential debris hit them in such a way they couldn't protect/defend themselves. Rocks fall, everyone dies... beam traps Vaporeon and neither of the other two can get it out without damaging Vaporeon... that kind of stuff.
Granted, I've never been a huge believer in the theory, I just always keep it in mind because it is one of the few fan theories I like a bit. And I feel the points I've brought up are worthy of considering for either side of where this theory can land. I by no means consider it fact, but I felt it was at least worth positing ways it can be true and also bringing up arguments that can debunk it, mostly with Flareon, obviously.

I'd like to say the connection between Kangaskhan and the Cubone line is iffy.
Early versions of the story they may have been intended to have some deeper connection, but now definitely not.
Cubone and Marrowak are based on aboriginal tribesmen who used to hunt kangaroos using boomerangs, Kangaskhan is literally a kangaroo; culturally they have a shared origin, but evolving a hunter into their prey makes no sense (no, not even fiction gets a pass).
There's also the glitch pokemon M. It doesn't come up much anymore, but one of the glitches you could catch in RGBY was called M, and it could evolve into a Kangaskhan. Wasn't too far of a leap to say that M was a placeholder for ye olde Marrowak... Until you realize that M can also evolve into Chansey, another motherly pokemon, and thus the M likely stands for Mother, not Marrowak.
So yeah, once upon a time these pokemon may have been intended to be related, but as of the official release I say no.
What's funny about the Brass Tower is no-one paid attention to any of Lugia's Pokedex entries. Hmm... the Brass Tower which hosts the storm summoning deity who can't control it's own powers was destroyed by a mysterious storm? Hmm... that's a very unfortunate coincidence.
If you look at the levels of his pokemon his Ratata and Raticate are different pokemon the level is too low for it to have evolved. Many people say since Raticate is the only pokemon to go missing from his team it must be because we killed it, however knowing those two pokemon are different and he says he's caught every pokemon he's seen there's absolutely no way he can not be putting pokemon in boxes unless he's only ever seen six types of pokemon.
The level thing I got from Game Theory he explains it a lot better than I can.

Ah the Coma theory. As much as I like the theory itself (not some of the evidence, just the theory), I don't think it is fact. But there is an amazing Fanfiction that uses this theory as a base.

What I do believe is in the era of fossil Pokémon, Paras and Parasect had a symbiotic relationship with their mushrooms instead of a Parasitic one, and because it was Symbiotic, they were able to reach a third evolution where they got up on two legs and the mushroom spewed spores like a cannon. Team plasma actually revived Genesect and replaced the mushroom with an actual cannon as well as plating the body with metal and making the eyes more efficient. And boom, modern-day genesect was born!

Eric H Dragonite doesn’t resemble the myth at all design wise! My theory is that since magikarp is such a weak and worthless karp, it never really turned into a dragon; it wasn’t strong enough to by itself aka why it can through mega evolution. It just turned into a pokemon that resembles a dragon, but isn’t really one.
Eric H European dragons are typically round, or more quadruped and stand like a mamalian quadruped. Another kind is shown to be round and bipedal, like dragonite.
Chinese dragon myths resemble raquaza, or gyrados. Long sometimes bi or quadrupedal, typically magical and floating or in the sea and more serpentine.

That isn't exactly true. The beta Pokemon themselves aren't canon, but they were likely changed very late in development into raiku, entei, and suicune. The only thing that likely changed about them is perhaps a "pre evolution" similar to manaphy and phione. We might have been intended to witness the events.
Technically it'd all still be canon, they just don't exist as an actual Pokemon, much like the ancient bug Pokemon that was used to create genesect.

I think that the legendary beasts used to be Eevees. They were in training and since they died before they could evolve and live their life, Ho-oh granted them their evolutions. It explains why they couldn't just walk out or put out the fire.

The multiverse is canon actually, but it only covers trading between games. At the absolute most it would explain gen 1 and 2's Red, which are separate from the newer games.

1) We need to remember the Legendary Beast story is told to us as if it was a myth/legend passed down in Johto. It's probably not even true since we know multiple of the Beast exist in many regions. This can be said about all Legendaries/Mythicals backstory, I don't think we're meant to assume they're all fact and more just man-made myths that exist in the Pokemon world.
14) I see no reason why ORAS placement would be changed from RSE. Remember the world tournament in Gen5? They just reused the character sprites from the other DS games even tho the characters should be older. So S&M using his ORAS model makes sense cause 1) he's doesn't show up in cutscenes like the other cameos and 2) it's just easier for them to reuse assets then to make a whole new design. (He's the one returning character they could do that to as well)
Also there's more like 14-15 years between Gen3 and Gen7:
RBG/FRLG = RSE/ORAS > 3 years > GSC/HGSS = DPPt > *7+ years* > BW > 2 years > B2W2 = XY > 2 years > S&M/USUM
This leaves Red who's canonically 11 in Gen1 and 14 in Gen2, in his mid-20s by Gen7. (which lines up perfectly with everything else)
All the numbers are official except the "7+ years" between DPPt and BW, The reason I believe this is a reasonable number is because of Cattleya who's canonically 14 in HGSS/Pt is much much older in BW. (she has no official age in BW so their is no telling how many years exactly so it's only speculation and really any number above 1 or 2 would fit tbh)
I think it's worth mentioning Porygon's dex entry in Gen7. It mentions Porygon was made "about" (keyword) 20 years ago in relation to Gen7, we don't know when it was made in relation to Gen1 but I think it's fair to assume a bit before. (for obvious reason) This lines up great with the around 14 years time gap between Gen1-7.
Also before it's ask LGPE is not included in this timeline cause it's not canon to the main series timeline. Before I get attacked for saying that and called a hater let me explain:
Thanks to the LGPE artbook we know Matsurika (Mina) is canonically 13-15 in that game (she may not look it but GF says it's so) Let's use 13 and ignore the unknown amount of time between Gen4-Gen5 to be generous and fair.
13 + 3 + 2 + 2 = 20. This posses an issue with Gen7 where she is still a Trial Captain who have to retire at 19.
This + Red's design (brown hair) say's it's NOT the same universe. And before it's said "Red's design doesn't matter" I would like to point out the Rainbow Rocket episode which specifically used the original designs for alternate universe Aogiri (Archie) and Matsubusa (Maxie) to differentiate it from the current canon ORAS. Instead of Non-Mega and Mega Timelines it should be Black-Haired Red and Brown-Haired Red timelines lmao. But back on a serious note GF have also said they wanted to make more games in the "Let's Go universe" which also implies separate canon/universe. LGPE is a universe where the anime, manga and game canons blend together but it's disconnected from all those as well.

About the "Will is Lorelei" theory. In FRLG, when you first encounter her, she has all female Pokémon. After you defeat the League and do the Sevii Islands, all her Pokémon, except Jynx, are male and she replaces her female Slowbro with a male Piloswine. Then in the Johto games, Will has all female Pokémon, including a Slowbro and Jynx, which would be the only female Pokémon Lorelei would have.
Also, we most likely know that they're not the same person, but since LGBTQ people are starving for representation, we like the idea of Will being ftm transgender, so just let us have that one.

The temple that needs the Eeveelutions and the Gardevoir line to unlock all doors, is it Fiore Temple? I have played Pokemon Ranger and my theory on why you need the Eeveelutions to unlock the door is because of the tablet that saya it needs the three Eeveelutions (Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon) to step on the three pedestals.
A few years ago I listened to the Lavender Town music from the original games and then from the remakes, and the original version not only made me feel nauseous but also hurt my ears (I have really sensitive hearing). Maybe whoever wrote the Lavender Town Syndrome creepypasta had a similar experience that inspired the story.

Looking back at Pokemon Generations in the episode where Ho-oh appears the pokemon that supposedly perish look like stereotypical canines, kind of like the marsupial like placeholder creature from Pkmn TCG Online minus the barbs/spikes on the back and with a more athletic lean body. Also the statues of the legendary beasts in the OG games G&S don't look like the ones in Crystal but like they're the same creature. So it's possible that the creatures trapped inside were actually the same undisclosed canine pokemon which is still to be revealed to the public and it probably never will.
Wait! Do you guys remember that electric dog that we saw on one of the banners in sword and shield, he definitely resembles the silhouette of the pre-legendary beasts, what if the supposed yamper evolution was pre-raikou and houndoom was pre-entei, as for suicune I’m not quite sure

Thank you Ron! You are the only other Poke Tuber I've heard say that ORAS takes place later in the Mega Timeline, but it is the simplest and most obvious answer to the Wally issue.
RSE take place at the same time as FRLG in the Non Mega Timeline, but ORAS takes place about the same time as XY in the Mega Timeline.
It would be so nice to see someone do a video of "Pokemon 'facts' that are actually theories" because SOME people need reminding that Arceus is not factually "God", there is no actual theme with each type of Starter, Pseudo-Legendaries aren't official canon, Eevee can't only get new evolutions in even numbered gens, and more. There's a lot this fandom takes as fact but kind of isn't fact.
I personally think that the eeveeloutions are the legendary beasts because,
1. They wouldn't be strong enough to use their elemental powers
2. The silhouettes are more of a spiritual representation of the pokemon, not what they actually look like
3. Vaporeon's dna is similar to water (it can literally become water) therefore it could boil
4. Flareon or any of the others couldn't escape because the exits were blocked off by rubble
5. They could've instantly died if something fell on them
6. And, the pokemon world is one world, in the canon there is only 3 legendary beasts it doesn't matter that they are in different regions, you can catch mewtwo on kalos and kanto but canonical there is only one mewtwo.

Raikou was a leipard, luxray, or a persian because raikou is a cat (probably luxray)
Entei was a houndoom, arcanine, lycanrock, or another dog Pokémon. Maybe not a fire type because then he would be immune to fire.
Suicune was a lycanrock, alolan ninetails, or some other fox-like or dog-like Pokémon.
