    RIP Gordon Downie
You guys played this in Phoenix back in October, which I actually came straight from a surgical procedure to the show, because I'd been waiting 18 years to see you guys live, and I cried the whole way through this song. This is so perfect and made the whole wait and struggle worth it.

That's what life's rare amazing moment's are made of. Sometimes the risk is worth the journey.

Rest in peace gord 🤟 was at this concert he sings about. It's the first time. He ever played with the tragically hip...amd gord was larger than life... stood there with my mouth open in awe... just unreal. And olp singer climbed 40 ft of speakers and stuff and sang some sweet tunes. 🤟✌😁

I love this album! Raine's voice and maturing style keeps adapting to changes in music. It's amazing.

This album is very much appreciated. Missing home so much and even though these are new songs, they sound like home.

Great tune -- lyrically and musically. Enjoy how the end lyric of "how the crowd was unprepared" surfaces again. That guitar rift keeps it moving.

After Spiritual Machines I never really got into Our Lady Peace. But this track is amazing, and I love Gord Downie.

These guys used to be pretty big. They seem to have went indie. It's good to see they're still making music though.

She said "its art just fucking mirror it"...
Gord Downie was an amazing painter. Paper his canvas words his art. I loved him very much. And I don't mean in a Starstruck sense I mean he was somebody who taught me how beautiful and important art is. Not just spoken word or poetry but how everything in life is based in art. I wasn't one of these fair weather fans who stopped listening after road apples and then came back around again when Gord was sick and dying. I went to see Gord do his solo performances and never stopped listening. As a Canadian I don't claim Gord as a national hero. Nationalism is just another form of control. Anyone who knows The Tragically Hip and Gord Downie knows that he hated being painted into the Canada corner. Thinking that he wrote songs about Canada is very basic and short-sighted. He actually wrote songs that contain references from all over the world. Art knows no Borders or boundaries. Anyone who actually listened knows this. I miss him very much and have a hard time listening to The Tragically Hip and to Gord Downie. The song is well done and I'm proud of Raine for dropping his ego and giving a nod to another artist. I also like that he didn't reference Canada and Gord being Canadian in the song. As someone who is pretty flat with his feelings I can say without a doubt that I loved Gord Downie and I miss him alot. I'm glad OLP is making music again. Also love these guys. First time I saw them was at a place called The Arnie. A college bar in Hamilton Ontario. They played in the corner of a very small dance floor and they fucking rocked :-) it was just after Naveed came out. Really talented musicians but Raines voice could never match his cleaned up studio voice. He succeeded as an artist and I have much respect for him. He always came off as a bit douchey but I think he's just serious about his art. I know now that my perceptions of people are not always what I think they are. Great song. Great people.

You're missing the 4th line of the 2nd verse in the lyrics. I don't know if that was intentional, but a few fans have been asking what the line is.
