I just want to thank you guys for the great music over the years, I was a bit of a wreck as a teen (who wasn't?) and I honestly believe it was your music played a big part in shaping who I am today. So thanks and keep it up.
I was there at all 3 shows (including Canada Day). And this is, by far, the classiest thing I've seen a band do! OLP, you are absolute legends. If you guys remember, I was the one in the front row and center, holding up a sign for you to play "Not Enough" at your first show at O2 Islington. I recall Duncan asking me, "so you were the guy sticking your camera out for almost the entire show?!" Oh, and yes, "Not Enough" was #7 on the setlist the next night. Thank you OLP. Thank you very much! :)
couldn't agree more Shane the first OLP gig in England for nearly 10 years showing how devoted the UK fans are we waited 10 years to see them live and we tore the roof off that place we deserve this moment and music video
I am in the video at 4;13 in the front row (long hair covered in tattoos) just want to thank you guys for including me in the video it was an amazing night seeing you at the 02 Islington for the second time ever having seen you the night before at the free Canada day event I met Steve Raine and Jeremy after the show but is a nice new memory to add of that great night thanks again
I was there for both of these shows! Incredible stuff, will never forget that weekend. Don't think i made the vid though; i was near the front but i was probably left on the cutting room floor. "Yeah...see that guy there? That hat he is wearing is horrible. Don't let him see a single iota of screen time. Good job."
OMFG, I saw myself at 3:17 in. I am so over the moon to be immortalised in this video. thanks so much guys @OurLadyPeaceNet! come back to London again soon
It was their first UK gig in over ten years. Get a grip fella, you could've seen them anytime you wanted to over the past decade, not to mention the OLP Live DVD and CD which were recorded IN CANADA, as well as all the CANADIAN TV spots they've did and the other CANADIAN concert footage they've released. Let us English have our moment. A fucking beautiful moment at that.
They turned into every one of those bands when they ditched Mike and tried going mainstream with Bob Rock. Now they are a band trying to chase their glory days and rather than playing large venues like they once did they are playing small stops. The audience has spoken.
The flag that we got a chunk of the crowd to sign didn't get too far; we chucked it on the stage as a gift for the OLP lads as a thank you. Duncan was going to take it then looked at how over excited we were about the whole thing then decided against it. Quite smart actually; that flag got covered in so much sweat that night that it probably had a few diseases running through it.
I like how at 1:09 they show the whole band signing a flag for a fan. Out of all the OLP concerts i've been too not one has Raine signed autographs >___
Bands need to change or it gets boring, this new album is great. Cant count how many times i have heard people say they dont listen to a band anymore cause all of their stuff sound the same. Then people say they dont listen to a band anymore because they changed. There is no pleasing anyone. People just need to deal with it. Bands evolving is a great thing, sometimes it doesnt work for them sometimes it works better. Curve is a great album though. Better than the last one.
Wow it would make a lot more sense for Window Seat but it still works really well for Rabbits :) And yes a video for Fire In The Henhouse would be wicked
I've been an OLP fan since 1998, i think i 'deserve' my opinion ;-). Personally, i think the new sound is great. Bands have to evolve otherwise they become stale. OLP have developed their sound to produce unique albums that each have a different atmosphere and tone to them. Sure, some are better than others, but they are all top-notch. To be honest, you sound like a spoilt hipster, complaining about 'her local band' getting too big. Oh, speaking of Muse, i saw them live just the other day...
Heard this for the first time today. Pretty sure it was the first time of many!

Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.

It's been too long since you've been to St. Louis, guys. We're waiting.

Loved Mike Turner, even though I audition to get his job :) but I agree, change is definitely great!!!! Great video, great song! :)

Nice job! Now Fire in the Henhouse or Window Seat needs one :D
Steve has been in the band longer than Mike has, at this point. When are you guys going to quit? If you miss Mike so much, go check out his band.
Wow it would make a lot more sense for Window Seat but it still works really well for Rabbits :) And yes a video for Fire In The Henhouse would be wicked
Each album is different if you really listen, it's great isn't it :')

They need Mike Turner back. It's been all down hill since he left. Steve is a good player, but the music has changed.
