Thanks for all of the comments about the audio volume. I will definitely take this into consideration for all future videos. The next 2 episodes are already recorded so I can't change those but all the rest will be better
There are a lot of UA-camrs who have the volume too low and still just ignore the feedback. If we turn the volume up to hear the target video, when the 'reactor' speaks it blasts out and just about bursts the eardrums. There's therefore no point in me watching episodes 2 and 3 along with you. 1 & 2 are not as funny anyway. they get better as it goes on and the characters settle in and develop. If you're unsure about the volume, always err on the too loud side.... it's less a problem than if the reactor is too loud.
@@BlueShadow777 it’s not his fault, he didn’t know until we told him lol, give him a break, he’s obviously only just starting to get a bit of interest in his channel now, so any feedback is probably welcomed by him
You replied to one of my comments saying to keep the facts coming lol, the woman who plays (iza) the nosey one lol, she used to be my drama teacher in high school, which was in the same area as the time stamp I posted, she was the drama teacher in St Paul’s r.c high school in pollock in the early 2000’s and since the show ended in 2018 or 2019, I think she has went back to teaching I heard
The show is about a group of Scottish pensioners still living life amongst the youth. Hence the title “Still game.” Trust me the show is definitely a good watch from beginning to end. You haven’t lived until you have enjoyed Scottish banter. As a Scotsman myself I loved watching this show as in a way it made me proud to be Scottish. It also helped me develop banter with my mates. My favourite character is probably Winston, he’s the funniest character imo. As well as Jack and Victor. The show was very popular when it first came out and then it went onto a hiatus for a while due, to a falling out of the cast members. Then it came back in 2016 for a final three series. It’s worth the watch and won’t take you too long either as there are only 10 episodes in a series. Other countries have CCTV Scotland 🏴 have oor local Izas (gobshites) lol 😂. If you need help understanding any Scottish slang I can help you. HeeHaw basically means nothing. Xx
Brilliant I’m ready for this, one of the best shows ever and gets better and better and better. Yes there’s a lot of slang but you’ll adjust. This is obviously the pilot and finds its stride soon as you’ve said
The more episodes you watch the better you will pick up the dialogue & scottish banter . In future episodes there will be some faces you will recognise from english programmes and movies . Even well known faces from Harry Potter .
The show had an incredibly successful live stage version. They did 21 dates at the Glasgow Hydro which holds 14,500 and each one was a sell out. This show helped me get through the pandemic and lockdown. We all remember what that was like. You couldn't go anywhere and leave your town. Couldn't see your friends three of mine arec21 miles away from me in Glasgow. I was working 5 days a week front line in a supermarket. You got bored missed family etc. I got a bit fed up and down at times. This show was absolutely the best medicine. When I needed cheering up and a laugh thie worked. I needed comedy.
@@kevinthegeek23 Do you mean the live show. I think it was filmed not sure if it's available online anywhere. But a character to look forward to is Methadone Mick but he doesn't arrive till about season 6.
Not sure if you picked it up but the name of the barman, Bobby, in Scotland is a slang word for penis. Hence the joke "Shut up Dick", "It's Bobby". Think it's a recurring joke so good for you to know it now. The main characters are Jack and Victor. The grandfather is Winston and the cornershop owner is Navid. They are both extremely funny characters in their own right later on, very dry and sarcastic wits. I can only endorse what everyone else has said - definitely continue watching it!
"He who hingeth aboot gets heehaw" basically translated for you means He who hangs about gets nothing, in a nutshell if you're no fast your last.😁 These guys believe it or not are really trying a slower & more pronounced version of Glaswegian patois, sometimes it's kinda slow for us natives.😂 Most of the cast are a lot younger than the characters they play, also you followed the dialogue pretty well(wish Alexa could) Stick with it as the characters develop and the show only gets better.👍
5:35 I grew up in this place in the late nineties and early two thousands, called south nitshill, or (southy) which was part of the bigger area called (pollock) it’s all new build houses now though, but was a great place to grow up as a kid/teenager, (minus the gang culture, which was really bad back then, but basically non existent now

Take a look at my pinned comment. I am aware of the fact some people find it too low. I think it depends on what you are using. My phone it sounds fine on, my tablet it is low. I will be taking this feedback on board and adjust for future videos.
I'll subscribe if you sort the audio out mate, the audio balance between you and still game is way off, had to turn volume right up to hear still game, then i had to mute when you spoke because your volume was far too high...not good when watching at 4am and you have neighbours.

Looking forward to it

@Kevin the Geek, your best option to watch the live show is between series 6 and series 7. The live show is on UA-cam
Good reaction keV

Yes every episode has an extra scene after the credits and the episodes get better and better
"Flittin'" is Moving Home...the verb "to Flit" also noun "a Flit" or "Flittin" :)
Looks like a really funny show. I am going to enjoy this series
It is, but the first episode is rubbish, so if you liked this one, you are going to love the ones after this 🙂
Some of the best characters are recurring ones or one offs. Big Innes, Shug the Lug, Stevie the Bookie, etc
Aye, both Widowers
Thanks for helping me understand
You need to turn the volume up. Can hardly hear the show. It's a hilarious series btw.
Thank you I will bear that in mind.
@@kevinthegeek23 I was going to say the same thing. Your mic volume is considerably louder than the show which makes for uncomfortable listening. 😊

Not sure if that was meant to be compliment or not 🤣🤣
I am looking forward to the rest
Volume's toooo low!!! Can barely hear it!
Yes a few people have made comments on that. The first 3 episodes have already been recorded but I will try to improve that for the following episodes
You need to fix the sound,, the volume of the show is too low, but when you speak, it’s extremely loud 😊
Thanks for the feedback. The next two are already recorded but I will bear it in mind for all the following ones
Scran = food
Sound very low.The shows just get better and better.
Tams name is Tam.If it was Tom then his name would be Tom .They don’t have accents that’s how they talk.Enjoy it gets exceptionally funny 33:46
What is the point when the sound is so low people cant hear???
