Those are literally things you could read in a flyer of a Valentine's day Café. There are also many other ways of how Dating works and can work. Sometimes it just clips together. Or sometimes it needs an endless time for it to work out. Or it just stops because it's not working. But a honeymoon doesn't need to be there. Seduction can also bring in the first date. There is no real sceintific background for it. A psychologist would explain many variations in many types how this could happen.

The doubt phase hurts a lot. They go from loving you and saying they can't help but think they want to spend the rest of their life with you, only to turn 180 a week later and say they don't want to. They leave you in the dark, say they need to find themselves by being single for at least (insert time here), only to not mean what they say and end up being with someone else. The worst feeling in the world is seeing someone you love look at someone else the way they used to look at you...
This is me exactly. Yeah, that feeling that they love someone else the way they used to with you is very painful.

Happened with me yeah but they told me we might date in the future after we are academicly doing good. It hurt alot because it was sudden, I gave my all and expected them to just stay by my side through it all but alas they left. I'm starting to think they might date someone else after this and that keeps me up at nights, it hurts because I did everything that one should in order to become a healthy partner
My boyfriend and I rushed into our relationship extremely quick. Literally started dating the same day we met😅
That being said, we went through most of these stages within the first week or so of dating. And everyone said we were in our "honeymoon phase" because we were so happy to see each other and constantly excited around one another. So many people doubted our relationship.
Here we are, two years and seven months later. We're still happy and giddy and lovey dovey around each other. It's gone from super excitement to laid back. We went from being in the honeymoon stage to being happy about building a life together.
I'm very happy where I'm at and so is he. And we're getting our own place soon.

@@icy8403 I was at church camp and my friend invited me on a double date so hers wouldn't be awkward.(Icee dates were a common thing across the camp) I asked my crush and four other guys(rejected all times😅) and then I saw him standing in the lunch line at our cabin. Our cabin was filled with several churches so it wasn't uncommon to see a stranger or two.
I decided that he looked lonely and cute enough to give it one more shot.(Spoilers: he agreed!) We all went and surprisingly(and technically against camp "rules") he paid for the date as well as extra ice cream for me.
We got pretty acquainted throughout the date and decided to sit next to each other throughout the rest of our planned day. Considering it was our last day there, we had to pack and take a bus two hours back to my church.(My church is normally the head of our cabin) My phone died and he was the only person I knew that had a phone so we decided to sit next to each other.(I had to keep in contact with my dad and he agreed for me to use his phone)
We talked the entire two hours and eventually kissed on the bus.(Oooo rebellion-)
We exchanged numbers and texted after I got home and charged my phone. We decided to just "give it a shot" and the rest is history.
Weird, definitely not "innocent christian girl like", but the best love story I could hope for.

The doubting stage… Yep. Today, the 17/1 is one year since we started dating… Me and my partner are now having this stage and we almost broke up. Listen to me. If you have a wonderful relationship, please do not rush to end things between you two just cause it’s getting difficult, instead, be honest with each other, open and understanding. Try to talk and work on stuff. Don’t run away from your problems. Don’t leave someone just because you get the feeling that they want to break up and you don’t wanna get hurt. Fight on your love. And if you’ll get hurt in the end, it was at least worth trying.
My boyfriend and I were in that situation a few days ago. He broke up with me bc he didn't know what to do. We took a few days for ourselves and now we are back together again. If you truly love your partner and it isn't a toxic relationship, there shouldn't be a quick ending to it. Both should be honest and talk about it and work on it together.

I've been dating someone for 3 years. I have shared everything with her and she trusts me completely and I trust her as much. We've gone through the doubting stage and we're in the acceptance and commitment stage. We're happy with each other and we work through our friction together.

There are several types of romantic relationships, each with it's own flows and phases. I see it more like- Casual interest dating, Significant interest dating, Exclusive interest dating, and finally, Commitment interest dating. Know your interest, and date people with the same dating interest.

I just want a friend first. I don't know how to make friends who I can trust. Once I learn how to love myself, then make a friend, finally I will look towards a relationship and dating. How can I be a good person to someone I care about if I don't even care about myself or have any friends? I would just be one of those "clingy" people and that isn't who I want to become.
I've been dating someone pretty recently and she has had relationships in the past, unlike me who is basically new to relationships. She is just amazing, and asks me questions about what makes me comfortable, and how we can keep eachother comfortable in the relationship. She's just an amazing girl and I'm so lucky she is mine :)

3:38 The doubting stage is where it ends for most people. If you're not getting to the first stage, it's because the other person traveled forward in time and peeped at all those doubts. I'd say that overcoming someone's doubts is the first stage for the more experienced daters.

1. create a dating app profile
2. swipe right on all girls
3. after 1 week get one match
4. send a funny pick up line
5. She ghosts
6. repeat stage 2-5 for 1 month
7. get depressed and quits dating app
8. go to the gym for 3 months and build up confidence. Then repeat step 1.
Will dating apps are big scams
It's a vicious cycle. From my experience, dating apps are less effective than talking to random people. Unfortunately, these apps are meant to be addictive and I would identify that addiction to swiping as your main obstacle, not your profile or physical appearance.

Dating can be very individual about how it works. There is no script like Psych2go thinks it is. And sometimes the "doubting phase" can also be the ending phase. There is no perfect and there will be no perfect date or realrionship. But there are one. Just not that harmonic what Psych2go who aren't professionals in any area of this tell you.
My only experience went something like this…
1. Friends
2. Close friends
3. Do they like me?
4. Ohhh they do like me! That’s kinda exciting! I guess we’re dating now?
5. Wait… do I even like them back?
6. Extreme stress and anxiety
7. Can we go back to being friends?
8. Slowly drifting apart, questioning whether the friendship has ended or if it’s all in my head
It could be worse. I’ve learned a lot from the whole ordeal, so some good did come out of it in the end

Many couples decide to break up when the honeymoom phase is over, because "they don't feel in love anymore". The truth is, a relationship takes work. Being in love is a state you achieve by actively working on it. Saying nice to each other, not complacant, appreciating each other. The love feeling won't happen if you don't focus to work on it. Otherwise it would be magic, and magic does not exist ;). When partners realise this and overcome this stage (which is very difficult and can be painful), and decide to put the work in, that's when you are a powercouple.
My girlfriend and I have only been dating a little bit over a week, so...like usual...this video happened to come out at the exact moment I needed it to 😭

For 7 I’d recommend sorting out doubts right away, too much doubt at once can cause a relationship to die, even if it’s meant to be

Honestly speaking, I just got into a long distance relationship and I’m pretty happy. The only thing I’m worried about is my mental health. I’m worried that my boyfriend will hate me because my insecurities are so strong, they basically control me when I’m alone. I don’t want to worry him so I haven’t told him anything yet. This brought me comfort for some reason.
Me and my boyfriend have been attracted/ liked each other for around 3 years but have only been dating for around a year and 4 months. This is because of a lot of personal things that were happening throughout the years. But as soon as we got together it was fast and it felt like we were together far longer then we actually are. From an outsiders perspective of our relationship I can understand some people might see it as us rushing or “skipping steps”. I feel like since our process of getting together was pretty unique that we kinda have our own stages. This video was still super cute though!

I think me and my Boyfriend are on stage 8. We're still long distance because of life situation. We've been together over 5 years. We plan to adopt one day a little girl. (2-3 in age. Maybe even younger.) My Boyfriend supports me alot and gets me alot better than anyone honestly. And I try to get him too. He supports me on wanting to transition. (Female to male. My Gender Identity is Demiboy.) He also debates about being Trans too. Which I support him if he wants to do it. (His Bisexual and Biromantic. I'm Pansexual and Panromantic. So even if we transition we still feel attraction.) I plan to propose officially to him eventually here. I was going to last Fall. But stuff happened. And yeah now my Brother is getting Married this Fall. I've never been to a Wedding so this could be fun. (Tho I rather not go personally. And rather his Future Wife not at my Wedding when we have it. She will get upset over us having a Gothic and Victorian Themed Wedding. Cause in her mind black means bad luck at a Wedding. But from what I have read it's not bad luck.)

1 year in and I'm in the doubting stage it's been really difficult because small fights have happened and I am an overthinker about my feelings as well as his but we are working on it and I have hope we will get past it.
I just ended my almost 4 year old relationship. It was going very well until he started uni and suddenly decided despite his feelings for me I’m not his priority anymore. I wasn’t worth a five min call weekly, at least that’s what he showed me. Since he stopped paying that much attention to me the splitting wasn’t hard, i should’ve ended it earlier but i must say it was a great journey.

the 7th stage/doubting phase is kinda accurate for me tho, for the both of us. i or maybe we (me and my partner) can relate to that literally right now. but sometimes it can be a turntable meaning you will sometimes doubt your own doubts if you know what i mean. and i think that's the key if you still want to continue the story or just end it there. we've been together for 3 and more years and now that i think about it, it's kinda sad not having the both of us to even talk it out. we just agreed and took our separate paths.

I never really reach phase 1.. thus it's really really difficult to try and find someone. I think this is because I'm demiromantic. And if I'm in no way attracted or friend equivalent of that, I don't want to talk. Because it's just pure work, with no fun and no enjoyment for me, other than making them feel more happy. But still not being truly happy myself.
And.. I can only look online currently because of covid and life situation, making things even worse.
