Andre also didn't speak english when he first came to the states to train, all he spoke was french, so he had to have one of the Minnesota guys that he was training with (in this case Flair) speak for him. I can only imagine how much fun they had with that
I seen a dude drink six 7 ounce beer glasses with 6 shots of different hard liquor’s in each one…in under a half hour! He was 20 at the time…about 5’10 285 🤷🏻♂️
I agree. He was OK as a heel going against Hogan, but when he talked you could just tell there was nothing naturally malicious in his head. His role in "The Princess Bride" was the most accurate depiction of how he actually was. The kind giant who had no idea of his strength.
To Andre a regular size beer was like a shot glass. Jake Roberts drove him about 70 miles and while he sat in the back he drank two cases and didn't have to pee.
The most imprrssive Andre drinking story is somehiw everyone in the business at that particualr time managed to be in the same town on the same night to see Andre drink over 10 gallons of fluid on a whim. Truly it was an astonishing feat to ger all their schedules coordinated for this unplanned event.
In my opinion it is completely impossible for any human to drink 106 beers in one sitting. I'm a fan of Andre the Giant. I'm a fan of Ric Flair. And I also try to be realistic.
B.S. Andre didn't drink when I had the privilege of meeting him and hanging out with him and Roddy Piper (and Ric Flair and others) in 1982-84. Ric did. We would meet up with them in Niagara Falls at the Spaghetti Factory after an event. Ric was dating my friend's sister Laura back then. Andre said he couldn't drink due to his metabolism. I didn't drink either, so a bunch of us sober ones would always sit together.
Yeah, okay. It's been well known for decades that Andre did a lot of drinking, so I'm not sure why you claim he couldn't drink. If you google Andre the Giant and his drinking habits, you'll find many webpages mentioning how much he could drink. Maybe those nights he didn't drink, for some reason, but that was just those nights. That's not representative of his whole lifetime.
There’s literally pictures of him drinking all over the internet jabroni. I’m sure Ric Flair and numerous other members who knew Andre more than you can attest to that.
I'm only 6 foot 6 and 330lbs and I've drank a 48 pack of beer from Costco, by myself before. I'd imagine a 500 pound giant could handle 106 beers, no problem 🤷🏼♂️
Yes, he did. Many people have told stories of how much Andre could drink. It's been well known for decades, so it's not like Ric just made it up. All you have to do is google Andre the Giant and his drinking habits and you'll find many webpages mentioning how much Andre could drink.
1. Hogan is the biggest liar and bullshitter in the history of wrestling 2. Flair is more of an embellisher than a liar 3. there are tones of stories of Andre’s drinking habits from the bullshitters in wrestling, the honest people in wrestling, and people who have no connection to wrestling….and you know what….everyone’s stories are the same. he was the king of drinking
Andre also didn't speak english when he first came to the states to train, all he spoke was french, so he had to have one of the Minnesota guys that he was training with (in this case Flair) speak for him. I can only imagine how much fun they had with that
When Andre had a wine bottle in his hand, it looked like the same as hulk hogan holding a beer bottle in his hand.
Protect Ric Flair at All cost! Legend!
And the Jake the Snake stories on Joe Rogan about Andre are awesome too.
How did you not turn the camera on T.J? I bet he's hanging on to every word! Grinning so hard his face cramped up 😂
Apparently this comment section knows more about wrestling history than Ric Flair himself. 😂
A Minnie bottle in Andre the Giants hand must look like a tic tac.
106 beers is insane. But you’ve got to give his manager props too, 56 beers is insane for a man or normal size.
Got dam 106 beers 😂
I have drink like 70 at 230 lb
I'm 6'5 and 275 lbs and could drink 30 pack by myself back in day buy 106 is insane
Not advisable but most full grown men can work up to drinking a 30 pack. Over 100 is Captain America superhuman
When I was in highschool. I was 17 weighing 120 and could drink 24 or more (not often but I did on a few occasions) can’t do that anymore lol 😂..
I'm 5'7" and 152 lbs. and my limit is like 10-14, but it fucking kills me the next day. I try to keep it to 8 or less.
Same
Andre probably built up such a high tolerance that he probably didn't start feeling buzzed till about his 30th or 40th beer maybe even 50th
24 ring is nuts!
106 beers in 6 hours is over 17 beers an hour
I seen a dude drink six 7 ounce beer glasses with 6 shots of different hard liquor’s in each one…in under a half hour! He was 20 at the time…about 5’10 285 🤷🏻♂️
When I was 23 I could chug a pitcher of beer at once. I was 5 foot 9. 185 lbs.
Could listen to The Nature Boy all day
Unreal. Ken Patera also has an incredible Andre drinking story when the boys were in Vegas for a WWF show... seek it out here!
RIP Flair. WHOOOOOO!
They tried to make Andre a bad guy in wrestling, but he just wasn't a bad guy. They had to put him back with the good guys. He was a great guy.
I agree. He was OK as a heel going against Hogan, but when he talked you could just tell there was nothing naturally malicious in his head. His role in "The Princess Bride" was the most accurate depiction of how he actually was. The kind giant who had no idea of his strength.
Wooooo!!!!
To Andre a regular size beer was like a shot glass. Jake Roberts drove him about 70 miles and while he sat in the back he drank two cases and didn't have to pee.
106 is the stuff of legends for sure. i dont doubt it. i can out drink all my friends and can only jam 20 tall boys. holy crap!!!! i bleieve it.
NATUREBOY!!
If Ric Flair says you can drink, you can drink.
STONE COLD SLAMMING DOWN A 12PAK DURING A RING INTERVIEW.😂
Andre’ lived in North Carolina and was loved by locals.
After he retired on a ranch at Ellerbe NC
I never knew he was in constant pain because he couldn't stop growing
Speak a New beaujolais 😂
535lbs i believe it
these stories are as real as big foot and the easter bunny
Or god.
As if anyone here in the comments can verify if he did or didn’t drink all those beers lol. You have no idea what he could have drunk.
And neither do you.

Joey Chestnut ate 76 hotdogs and buns in 10 minutes.
Some people are just built different.
I agree.......Story is fake as hell......no possible way !
Jew Rich Eisen still sucks
Great wrestler, pretty lousy person
These Wrestling stories are such exaggerated bullshit. I've heard this one 3 different ways and the number of beers is always different.

I could have sworn an actual M.D. debunked this story.... the dr. said he would have been dead if he would have drank 100+ beers.
extreme tolerance + motivation to show off. unlikely, but not impossible for a 500lb man.
I'm only 6 foot 6 and 330lbs and I've drank a 48 pack of beer from Costco, by myself before. I'd imagine a 500 pound giant could handle 106 beers, no problem 🤷🏼♂️
@@westendlawn Lies
It's humanly impossible, you would die of alcohol poisoning. They can keep telling the story but it's simply not true.
Agree
106 beers is about 10 gallons , just drinking that much water would kill an average sized person
@@apage123 Difference is Andre isnt your ''average'' person.
how tell if this guy is telling a lie, his lips are moving.
Oh wow, another story about Andre drinking a ridiculous amount of alcohol. 💤 😴 I'm bored.
No he didnt. Stop lying. Not sure if hes a bigger liar than Hulk hogan.
Chill out bruh it ain’t that deep 😂
Yes, he did. Many people have told stories of how much Andre could drink. It's been well known for decades, so it's not like Ric just made it up. All you have to do is google Andre the Giant and his drinking habits and you'll find many webpages mentioning how much Andre could drink.
Impossible. Nobody will ever come close to matching Hogan's lies.
1. Hogan is the biggest liar and bullshitter in the history of wrestling
2. Flair is more of an embellisher than a liar
3. there are tones of stories of Andre’s drinking habits from the bullshitters in wrestling, the honest people in wrestling, and people who have no connection to wrestling….and you know what….everyone’s stories are the same. he was the king of drinking
Rick flair is doing his fairwell tour before he kicks it in the ring.
