Nice operation. Here in southern Michigan and northern Ohio we farm 8000 acres of corn wheat and soybeans along with doublecropsoybeans and cattle. We custom farm and harvest for others as well. We run a 500 rowtrac and 580 quadtrac as our main tractors both are afs connect models along with a johndeere 9560 rt . We run 2 gleaner s98 and a johndeere 9870 sts combines with 40 foot truflex razor heads and 12 row gerinhof folding corn heads . I'm a newer subscriber but I have went through and watched all your videos. You are a family farm that is similar to my family's. Great content with excellent explanation. Keep up the good work and stay safe !

When changing airbags on tractors or trailers you can take all the hardware off on the old airbags. Then unhook all your airlines, start your truck up putting air to your bags, plug the airline with your finger. The air will lift your frame up of tractor or trailer, slip old bag out when the frame raises and slide the new bag in. Take your finger off the airline, it will slowly let the frame down on the new airbag. You don’t need any jacks or anything. Makes it pretty simple!,!!

My experience with a No-Lube 5th wheel brings two things to mind. The first is that you must ensure that the ground circuit through pigtail is in good order. Having a mixed fleet of greased 5th wheels and teflon no-lube 5th wheels was a nightmare for me. if you change one over, please change them all. You’ll be happy with the add on Minimizer type. Never let anyone ever grease it though.

Depends on the year and soil type. Sometimes there’s no difference. The biggest difference I’ve seen is 50bu during a we year on gummy soil.
