25 years that's all??? Ridiculous. Look what they are doing to Donald Trump.
This is unbelievable
30 BILLION dollars for getting locked up for 25 years. Where do I sign up? Best retirement plan.
Why didn’t they jail people like this for all the fraud they happened during the 2008 financial crisis
Should have been life without parole. He destroyed so many peoples' lives.
He was better off robbing two banks at gunpoint and he wouldn’t get 25 years. Ridiculous sentence did anybody get killed?
The judge could have sentenced him to more time but 25 years is a significant portion of his life. I don't think anyone would want to spend that much time in prison. His parents also bare some of the blame for constantly telling him how special he was. Before he got arrested everyone was touting him as a financial genius. Now he gets to face the real world where mom and dad can't help him.
Are you kidding me? Billions of dollars and just 25 years? His family paid off the judge. No doubt
His light sentence will only encourage others to do the same kind of thing. Judge should have thrown the book at him. Now he’ll be out in 10 years or less. Disgusting…
They ought to jail his creepy parents too!
If ANY of us stole 30 billion we'd be in jail for life
100 years sounds about right given the harms done and families hurt.
Those donos to politicians helped out well 🤣
25 years? So he'll do about 2.5 years in protective custody with other rich white guys who have always been rich, and then be out by 2026 for Christmas
He’s JEWISH, not white.
@sayanimslayer3437 jewish is a religion not a race lol you can be black and jewish, mexican and jewish, or white and jewish or asian and jewish, just like christian can be any race or hindu can be any race, any race can be jewish, yes he is white jewish, his blood is caucasian and his religion is jewish, thus he is a caucasian man whos religion is jewish, religion doesnt choose your race, your blood does, his blood is caucasian so hes from europe, hes white, case closed
What a tragedy! I stand with Sam here, he was "reallocating" money for a better cause...arguing that he used it for a "lavish lifestyle" is ridiculous, he always was humble and prudent in money spending. 13 million mansion (for the WHOLE team) is not an exception. Granted he played the capital game to harshly but I sincerely believe that his effective altruism ideology is based and just imagine how transformative of a change somebody with his mindset could have brought to our society. What a loss!! I m also deeply dissapointed by the public perception only focusing on surface level missmanagement technicalities. Just look at his main competitor Binance...they essentially almost got caught doing the same thing! Also the fact that Caroline so cold-heartedly betrayed him in court is beyond the pale...
Come hard down on him!? No. No way. He did a favor to SBG’s family and friends. No other judge would give him the chance to be a free man again. Complete BS
He has to strike a deal and give up the criminal politicians who put him up to it.
Crazy. Theres people in federal prison for longer over Marijuana charges.
