Hi Boris, how long is your foot and what size did you choose?
Did you planed to use thiker socks like marinowool socks?
Check out the inlays / soles from PEDAG. Check out the soles named "KEEP WARM" .
    Cheers Gulliver

Hey Oliver, Thanks for the suggestions, will check it out. My longest foot is 29.8 cm and I chose a EU 46 size, which I just fine but I would feel a little cramped with thick socks.I also got th Scott model and chose a EU 47 have extra wiggle room and use thicker socks.Cheers, B.

Curious about sizing as you also own VFFs. What size do you wear in each? I'm trying to guess what size I'll wear in Vivo.

Hey Sam, here is your answer KSO = 46 EU / Vivo for this model = 46 EU. I've had problem with Vivo's previous Stealth model 46 was too small and 47 way too big. But for these 46 is perfect. Cheers, B.

How was the winter with the Gobi II? Was there enough traction? And how are they wearing now?

+John Aldrich Hello John, sorry for replying this late. I've been wanting to post another video to show how they have held up after a year. In a nutshell: pretty well! As regards winter usage, I would not recommend it at all. Two days after posting this video it snowed a little and I can tell you that the shoes were clearly not designed to work with snow: your feet get very cold. What are your winters like? Mine are very mild (North of France) and wet and I very rarely wear them. I wear them in winter if the weather is dry and if I don't have to walk outside a lot( I feel they are Spring /Autunm shoes).I purchased the Scott model for winter. They are very comfortable but a little less elegant than the gobis. Regarding the sole, I had concerns as expressed in the video but they were not founded, it's very good and grippy. I've never slipped ( or just once a little on ice, as I would have in almost any shoe) Overall a very nice pair of shoes, very confortable and rather elegant. I would definitely recommand them on sale ( all vivos are quite pricey normally but are good value for money when on sale), but they are not made for winter (you should try out their winterproof models for that) hope this helps. Cheers

Did they eventually stretch out to be a little more accommodating in the toe-box? Thanks for the review

Hi they are not as wide as the motus, or the evo, but they work fine for me. Overall, I am very pleased with them.

Is it the flexibility or the comfort and padding that you get between your feet and the ground, what makes you so pleased?

    • @borischristophe7441

I love the flexibility, the feel that you are close to the ground. I love their weight, quite light. You feel you have nimble feet. The padding is really minimal although I do use the sole which came with them ( I don't use the winter sole that I show in the video as I dropped the idea of using them in the winter. In winter I use the Scott model).

Nope, can't say they stretched that much, but I feel good in them.

    Thanks for sharing the review.
I guess that you had time to test them out during the rainy days. How do they perform?
    Cheers!

Indeed I have, they work fine in a typical urban setting with small walks outside. I use them for work and they are very nice. I don't walk a lot outside when it rains, but they definitely hold up for a 10 minute walk under light to medium rain.

    Hey Boris!
I'm thinking of going for a zero-drop shoe for work. The question I have is are these worth the asking price?

    • @borischristophe7441
      @borischristophe7441  7 років тому +1

Definitely if you get them on sale and don't use them in winter. I am now a total minimalist shoe convert and could not wear anything else. I would still probably wait for sales ( I guess it depends on how deep your pocket is). Hope this helps
