Yes, I love the music (and visuals) of this game. The menu music included. I'm particularly fond of the musical score they use at Orison - there's this one sweeping orchestral section with choir voices that's really just this uplifting sound. When you're bored sometime, don't worry about recording - just go to Orison and hang out at the balcony at the spaceport and watch the ships coming and going, and just take in the music. Eventually you'll hear the bit I'm talking about. 😉👍 Oh, and as to the background picture on the menu - that's one of the new big distribution centers that I mentioned to you in your previous video.
The Polaris will be available at IAE in November, just to be clear. 👍
Yes, Earth is in the Sol system in game. Just like in real life. 😉 I suspect it's gonna be a while before we get that system in the game. I hope I haven't died of old age before that happens. 😆
Since you've been away from SC for so long, you probably don't know about the animal life that they've added to the game if you ever just go exploring. The appear on Microtech. I don't know if they show up on Hurston or not (someone feel free to sound off if you know if they appear there or not). Currently, there's a bird-like critter (the Marok), and a cat/dog thing critter (the Kopion). FYI (PSA? lol): The cat/dog thing does *not* want to be your friend; don't try to pet it if you want to keep both of your arms. 🤣

I cannot wait for the Perseus to come out! i have one and want to see all 4 S7 guns firing. Going to be an epic ship like the Polaris will be. The Medical URSA or NURSA is an essential piece of kit that everyone needs that has a ship that can carry one. it is epic having a spawn point in any ship now. plus if you own that Phoenix with cash, then you should have the lynx for free.
What a great and hilarious video. All the ships are for rent for FREE and you can still have your jackets and burritos. Oh and by the way, I have a Polaris too if you ever like to crew it (and 43 other ships).
The Dev's added the rent option to the ship name plaques like you asked them to.
Nah the only game where I sit in the menu in awe is The Ascent.
I did leave a comment on your other video about the Polaris , as you said you cant get on the one in the show hall , but it is touring the verse while Invictus is on similar to have the Javelin ( ? ) was in previous Invictus events. You just need to find out what station its currently docked at and go there.
You can get on and tour it and its not as restricted / blocked off compared to how the Javelin was.
Vulkan currently has some kind of VRAM issues but maybe the hotfix fixed that.
The slow texture loading has been in the game for a while, since 3.22 I think.
You can buy the normal Scorpius and the Lynx in-game. Lynx is the best car in the game for me.
And the renting is free.
I think you own the Connie Phynix so you should now own the Lynx too they are bundled
Polaris will be available at I.A.E. at New Babbage later in the year.
Not sure it's always at New Babbage - I seem to remember seeing it at different location in the past (at least Orison), though maybe I'm just misremembering... 🤔

You have old Launcher too. It still work but new is better. New version is 2.0.0 and you need to load from website.
You still have the OLD launcher!!! Launcher 2.0 is available to download and looks much nicer

You do have this installed on an SSD I assume?
Star Citizen requires an SSD. The faster the better
