She said do you remember the little rolled up piece a paper singing about a bill becoming a law? 🤣🤣 I started shouting with joy. So of course we had to Google it. So here we are feeling all nostalgic, remembering the times of yesteryear. Man, those were simple & peaceful times. There definitely wasnt any of the boloney that's happening today. We were very blessed to grow up during those times. We didn't have much and it didn't matter because we had what this world needs and that is LOVE. Anything coming out of a TV is going to be more entertaining to kids than a lecture or book. I imagine they still play it in school but I'm not sure. They definitely played it enough for us that I remember it word for word after all this time. Could use some newer animations and a re-recording with a modern artist though.

The bill mentioned here was because of a terrible accident which happened on March 24, 1972 at a railway crossing in my hometown. The school bus was transporting students from Nyack high school when the school bus driver decided to outrun the train on Gilcrest Road which bordered Valley Cottage and Congers Ny. The train T boned the bus killing a five students. When I attend Nyack High in the early 80s there was day in early spring we remembered the lives lost that terrible day.
Rest in peace Jack Sheldon. He's the guy who sang most of these songs.
