Thank you! They make fun and wonderful gifts for family and friends. To make the teapot a feeder juts out duct tape inside over the spout opening :) Have a most wonderful day!
Thank you. It is a fun way to preserve beautiful china and make it useful again. They are mainly used as feeders on a porch. Merry Christmas and have a wonderful day!
Hello! Well, I am glad you stopped by for a visit! I am a random crafter. You never know what crafting or miniature mischief I am getting into. The birdhouses are fun. Thank you again and have a wonderful weekend!
Hello!! I am so happy you enjoyed the project. Soon I will be sharing the new ones I have to make for this holiday season's craft faire :) Once I reveal the 1-12 scale manor house (dollhouse) I have built, which will upload sometime tomorrow, I will be back to a normal Tea Tuesday craft schedule. Have a wonderful day!
The cups are for birdfeed. If you put duct tape inside the teapot to cover the spout you can put feed in the teapot as well. This project is best used on a covered porch. Have a wonderful day. Merry Christmas! :)
Hello! I am glad you enjoyed the video. I love pretty teapots. You may enjoy this one. This is where I keep my favourite teapots. ua-cam.com/video/kHSZsZLZnU4/v-deo.html
Wonderful! I love a pretty teapot. :) Most of the teapot I use are unusable for tea or they are badly chipped, and I repair them enough to make the birdhouses :) Have a wonderful day!
They are fun to make and make wonderful gifts. Thank you for stopping by. Last week I posted the new houses for this year and a few I updated. Have a lovely day!
Hello! Thank you :) These are actually designed to be a feeder undercover on a porch or as a decor item. I just wipe out the cup with a damp cloth. P.S. Have a lovely weekend :)
Did you build the base yourself? And if so, do you have a video and instruction for that part? Love these! Would like to make one for my garden. Thank you.
I did and I would be happy to show you. I will film a rundown of the base for tea Tuesday tomorrow. Grab a cup of tea or your favourite drink and stop by the channel, I will show you and give you the measurements :) They are fun :)
They are a nice way to preserve teapots that may be a favourite that cannot be used anymore. They do make good feeders for covered porches. Have a wonderful week!
Hello! Maria, no, most of them are orphaned with missing lids or they are too damaged to hold tea. I do reserve the nice ones I find for eBay; I have two in our eBay store now. This helps help my son pay for college :). Thank you for stopping by. Have a nice weekend :)
I am sorry for the late response. Yes. People have used them indoors and out. E6000 is weatherproof. I have a heavy wire attached by screws for security.
Hello Diane! I start out with a 6ft-10ft 1 x 6. The back is 16 inches. The base is a 7 x 7 cut. The tops are 7 x 8 and 7 x 7 :) Very sorry to may not have mentioned this. I was somewhat new to making videos :) Have a most wonderful crafting day!
LOL :) They actually do. New owners will often put a disk of wood with the appropriate hole cut for smaller birds. Mostly though, they are used for decorative feeders for front porches or deco in a kitchen or dining room where owners keep their teacups. I have been making them for 11 years now. Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend :)
Well, lol:) It was very early on and my son who was17at the time selected the music. I have a selection of piano and smooth jazz now:) Thank you for stopping by :)

@@theeclecticthriftercrafter Wow, thank you so much. I so appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing. its a great idea. And it looks like it can be a tiny bird house, sort of as well.
Yes, and you can actually put a false front to fit any bird. Most people use them inside for kitchen decor :)
Curious if they are actually used by some as bird houses and if so, do the ones with bird figurines dissuade birds from making a home there?
This is mainly used for a feeder on a porch. But you can put a disk of wood with a small hole drilled through for small birds.
Those are absolutely gorgeous. Love your channel. Look forward to each new video. Thanks for sharing 😊🥰

What are the dimensions of the wood?
Hello Diane! I start out with a 6ft-10ft 1 x 6. The back is 16 inches. The base is a 7 x 7 cut. The tops are 7 x 8 and 7 x 7 :) Very sorry to may not have mentioned this. I was somewhat new to making videos :) Have a most wonderful crafting day!
Cute, but, seriously I doubt any bird would live in anything like that
