    OMG! This is a new beast, impressive! Interesting to know they have developed a new studio to control it, and can also be used with Lightburn. The engraving looks excellent.

      @JTMakesIt  Місяць тому +2

      Thanks! Yes it's pretty cool indeed! And it only needs GRBL license for Lightburn, the same as diode lasers. There is no need for purchasing additional DSP licence that CO2 machines usually use.

      @@JTMakesIt Oh, wonderful, I didn't know about the different licences in Lightburn, thanks for telling me

    Great comparison! I am sold! Atomstack's price is more reasonable I am looking forward to owning one now.

    Great review! I noticed on their website (unless I missed it), they don't sell a rotary/chuck for it?

    • @JTMakesIt
      @JTMakesIt  6 днів тому +1

      I asked them about this a while ago and they say the R1 Pro rotary is compatible.

    • @1-Nice-Guy
      @1-Nice-Guy 6 днів тому

      @@JTMakesIt thank you, would make me a lot more comfortable if they deleted the "Not compatible with Hurricane" note from the rotary page. 😀

    • @JTMakesIt
      @JTMakesIt  6 днів тому +1

      @1-Nice-Guy but don't take my words for granted, at that time (2 months ago) they asked an engineer and he said that it will be compatible. But if it explicitly says that it is not, then maybe it really isn't 😅 but the machine has rotary output, one rotary should be compatible. Maybe there will be newer version soon

      @JTMakesIt smaller the focal, better the engraving and worst focus depth

    • @JTMakesIt

      @martinotalotti8986 compared to the xTool P2 it has shallower focus depth and better engraving performance which makes sense

    When using the conveyor feeder, what is the maximum thickness of material you can use?

    • @JTMakesIt
      @JTMakesIt  Місяць тому

      I don't know the exact number, but its a good chunk. in the range of 5cm so it clears the front panel. If you really need the number I can measure it for you. But you can always lift the machine higher on the riser base by adding some additional spacers under the feet. You could raise it like 20cm if you really want

    How long is the tube length? A 50W tube is 1000 mm in length. The case on this is just 1000mm... did you use a watt meter?

    • @JTMakesIt
      @JTMakesIt  Місяць тому

      I haven't measured it, my optical power meter only goes to 50W. But many manufacturers offer 55W CO2 in the same sized machine frame. Many 55W tubes now come in approximately 850mm length too.

    Can this engrave inside curved bowls?

    • @JTMakesIt
      @JTMakesIt  27 днів тому +1

      It can engrave very shallow ones because it doesn't have very big focus range, but if you want to engrave very deep curves you should check out my full review video of this machine: ua-cam.com/users/shortsOj3qYAJHvA0

    wow, the water fire suppression is stupidly simple, i never seen it used before. same goes for the camera, using the open lid for setup is genius, not only makes it working easier the camera being farther away gives better image quality and less parallax error.
    atomstack is one of the chines manufaturers that use crowdfunding right, they already have a working product and a customer base, not just some renders and artificial marketing hype.

    Before I continue watching I'd like to say that AI voice overs are terrible and make your content resemble all the spam, scams, and shills out there that do the same. I think you'd be better off doing the narration yourself. If you are shy, chances are you'll get over it. Have a look at the first videos from your favourite UA-camrs and you'll realise that almost no one comes off sounding like a pro from the get-go. If you don't speak English, have a thick accent, or just don't speak, use captions to convey your message. Not great, but infinitely better than having to listen to a fake human.
    Authenticity matters now more than ever, so if you want great success, make that your mantra.

    Klasse 1 gelabelt und eine Angabe von Netzspannung mit 220 Volt dürfte so nicht in den Verkehr gebracht werden.

    • @agnaz1967
      @agnaz1967 Місяць тому

      @@JTMakesIt Unfortunately it is in German, but this information is also available in English on the EU website.
      If a laser is sold, it needs instructions in the national language, a risk assessment, various tests and a declaration of conformity.
      The specification 110 - 220 volts would also be incorrect or not permitted!
