Yorks nice, been my home town, but Scottish Highlands are awesome...Heading to Glencoe next weekend for Christmas and Hogmanay like i have for last 15 years....its paradise up there
Very nice video and Oban is my childhood,as being there from a tot around 3 years old,I'm now 51 and visit every year,in my younger days it was most weekends. I only stay around 125 miles from Oban and as a classic car enthusiast own an old Mercedes with the number E20 BAN (Oban). And just one more point you may not know, south of Oban is a small island called seil island and that's where the Bridge Over The Atlantic is. It's a very famous bridge and also very small,no what you would expect after being called the bridge over the Atlantic. Google it and see.
Thanks, my first visit to Oban was 1964 so I missed seeing you! Love that coast. I had heard of the bridge but we didn't see it. I love the ferry rides to the Kyles, Cumbrie etc. We were blessed to have good weather!
The next episode, Staffa, is even better, some great shots of Isle of Mull and Fingal's Cave. Will be up this week. After that Iona was a real pleasure to visit!

really great video, it was shame about that deer , people can be so cruel sometimes, thanks for sharing, oh by the way there is a webcam at york facing the bridge, i often go on & have a look , & have seen it many times in flood.
Same year as the Scotland films. My sister has a holiday home in Acaster. Cruising down the Ouse from Acaster, then a day in York. Just editing it. The Scotland trip starts in the Farne Islands, then Lindisfarne. Did you see them?
@ 2:34 you passed the house of the notorious Jimmy Saville... And just before that you passed the famous Black Rock Cottage (just at the entrance to the ski-lift)
You know a place is stunning, when it even looks good on dull rainy days.
