I just saw this video for the first time. My grandmother is in this video, enjoying the music and having fun! She passed away last year at 99, and I was thrilled to be able to see her for a brief moment. I will keep playing this video forever and ever. Thank you.
Shelley Bracken your grandmother must have been very cool. Everyone looks to have felt the groove, the Piano Guys are really great musicians, we seen them last week in San Jose. God Bless
I love, love these senior citizens. You can tell they were really into the music. They are just as young as the youngest person inside. Even though there bodies may have gotten a bit slower, they are just as young inside as anybody! I love to see them dancing and the piano guys sure made a great performance! Fantastic!
As a former CNA for 15 years primarily in Long term care facilities? This made my heart swell seeing these sweet folks smiling, dancing and just having a wonderful time! When covid calms down do some more shows in facilities. These folks love music especially older music as it’s so nostalgic for them in bringing back memories and getting them moving and interacting with others. Best kind of medicine here! Y’all rocked!
@Mennuti Studios It’s a big adjustment for them as losing independence of just living at home alone and being away from family is hard. I am now a caregiver for my husband and my father cared for my mother until she passed away last year. It can be hard adjusting and deciding what is best for you and your loved ones. Hang in there!
It's amazing how music soothes the soul and brings such happiness. These dear people need more of that, you can see how it affects each one and brings them to life! I've been in a few of these homes and so many are quiet and just sitting staring into space. Just because they are in their golden years doesn't mean, they don't have a zest for life, it's evident here for sure. These guys did their souls so much good!! Bravo!
There is no happier feeling than to see a senior smile and laugh and dance. God bless you for making them happy with your music 🎶. You are a wonderful band.
This makes me sooo happy! The lady in green dancing, the husband and wife dancing, the people clapping, the smiles, the workers dancing with the elderly, my heart! 😍
Gees the power of music, here sits a 46 year old man with tears of joy and sadness in my eyes, the joy being how happy it made the folks in this video feel and the sadness of reminiscing about my parents when they were in nursing care before they passed. A truly beautiful video.
there should be a group of musicians that go from elderly home to elderly home and bring joy to those who are oftenly forgotten, respect your elders, many people forget that us ourselves will eventuality get there
I can't watch this video without crying, the old man that drives up to the piano and pretends to play reminds me so much of my grandpa. It's been 7 long years since he last passed. I miss him dearly
It was heartwarming to see the joy they gave those people. Music is a strong motivator. But after reading many of the comments I realized that many are saying they are seniors. I have another thought. We are all seniors. We just don't realize it until the day it dawns on us. Those seniors were children needing diaper changes, teenagers with hormones, young adults looking for work and a life partner who then became mothers and fathers over the course of their lives. We are all given one gift of life with a finite amount of time and when it's over, it's gone never to happen again. Use your time here wisely. There's no rewind.
God bless the one and only Charles Schultz and Vince Guaraldi. The Piano Guys have always been special and amazing musicians and people also. This was so awesome for the elderly residents, employees and families. Music is timeless, emotional, healing and confirming. We need more of this, even though the video is from 12 years ago.
Ikr and i love the senior citizens they seem really into the music dancing with so much joy so cheerful they are adorable. The piano guys brought light on retirement home and an excellent performance
The first time I heard The Piano Guys was about 6 years ago and I fell I love with them right away. I still love to listen to the joy that I hear in the music that their hands produce and wish I could do the same. They have a God give gift that they share with the world. It amazes me just how happy they make me feel. You are all very special and I pray that the world could hear just how special you all are. So now I’ll go and sit down in my rocking chair and listen and feel happy 😊❣️
This performance is nothing short of inspirational! Thank you Piano Guys for being a bright light, and bringing laughter to your favorite audience. I love the line dancing, so great!
This is fabulous. What is also fabulous is that these guys give it their all, the same as if they were performing in a jazz venue - nothing toned down - so people who no longer have those opportunities to get out can still feel like they have had a fabulous time.
Oh, my gosh! Pure joy, all the way around! The conga line, the guy tapping out the rhythm on the side of the piano, the enthusiasm of the musicians... Love it!
Now this one is right up my ally. Great childhood song along with the people i respect the most. Its so refreshing to see you guys take time out to give back to the single group of people who deserve our undying gratitude
This takes me back growing up I loved watching all the Charlie Brown holiday episodes and regular season episodes. This song always made me want to get up and dance.
I love the joy with which the two musicians play (I don't know their names)-- it really takes courage to show your heart. The way they hold nothing back, both in their musical talents and in the grins on their faces, is nothing less than beautiful. Imagine if everybody looked at each other in this way, seeing the gift of the other person, all the while recognizing and sharing the gift of one's-self. It's so easy to get down on ourselves, and I think it's things like this that really remind of us of how good and lovable we are.
The nicest thing about the Piano Guys doing this for all of the old folks is that they probably grew up with Charlie Brown and this probably brought back some happy memories. They just looked so upbeat from beginning to end and I loved it.
Awesome! Three of my four kids ages five -eleven are taking piano lessons and recently helped the piano teacher (a pastor’s wide) put on a recital at a local nursing home. Awesome…
OMG You guys are amazing. Seeing the expressions on the faces of the residents is priceless. After the COVID -19 lockdown I hope you can tour as many facilities as possible. Our seniors need this dose of joy. God bless you both.
I love this!!! I miss the Charlie Brown specials. They always brought a smile to my face. So many fond memories. The theme song is also my cell phone ringtone.
A lot of people have commented this already, but it was SO sweet of them to go and play music for these senior citizens. I was smiling the whole video. Sometimes small things like this can bring so much joy to people, and we don't realize it. We take too many things for granted. This was so nice.
For soooo many reasons it would take me days to describe I FIRMLY believe the Piano Guys' magistral master pieces of music were sent by GOD from Heaven through these two beautiful souls..GOD BLESS them now and always...
i love how you do this for them. So cute! you know that they never really get a chance to be happy and listen to music, so thank you for that! And Shelly Bracken, I'm glad your grandmother got to be in this video! I'm sorry for your loss. Anyway, i love you Pieano guys!
If you can do something well enough that puts huge smiles on peoples faces and encourages them to dance then you’ve done a great service. Thank you to the piano guys for making the lives of these seniors happier. ❤❤
Remember that, if you're fortunate enough, you will be a seniour citizen someday. Look after yourself, and you could be just like that lady dressed all in green. 🙂🎶
I just saw this video for the first time. My grandmother is in this video, enjoying the music and having fun! She passed away last year at 99, and I was thrilled to be able to see her for a brief moment. I will keep playing this video forever and ever. Thank you.
And millions of people have seen her too. I hope to be famous at 99!!
What a beautiful memory to always have of her! Which one is your Grandma?
May your grandmother rest in eternal sleep.
Which one is your Grandma?
Shelley Bracken your grandmother must have been very cool. Everyone looks to have felt the groove, the Piano Guys are really great musicians, we seen them last week in San Jose. God Bless
You certainly made their day
So great the Piano Guys did this….bring sheer joy to our seasoned citizens. God is smiling on you two.
Almost cried at the little lady in the green pantsuit dancing. Looks just like my Grandmom who has been gone nearly 50 years. So sweet.
I've been watching this for years and it always makes me grateful for so many things
I wonder about the 1300 people that gave this video a Thumbs Down.

Thank you for caring for our elderly for 15 years. An amazingly tough job.
I was an activities director which is rare for a male. Warmed my heart seeing the residents having fun.😊😊
sometimes the joy you want in life only comes from giving joy to others. And this would be a perfect example.
I agree.
Nunna Yuh bitness well said

+pinksparkles2278 Awwwwww
+pinksparkles2278 ik what you are feeling. My grandpa just passed and its rough. sorry for your loss
+pinksparkles2278 my grandfather just past too.
I’m impressed how they made that drum/bongo set look just like a cello.
Yeah, pretty neat!
This makes me sooo happy! The lady in green dancing, the husband and wife dancing, the people clapping, the smiles, the workers dancing with the elderly, my heart! 😍

There is! Here in Los Angeles there's a group called the Pay it Forward band that does just that!
How wonderful for them to bless all those old folks like that!
Made me puddle up a bit.
The Lord bless you and the old folks too. 8-)
That was wonderful. To see all of the seniors' faces light up like that was awesome.
I can't watch this video without crying, the old man that drives up to the piano and pretends to play reminds me so much of my grandpa. It's been 7 long years since he last passed. I miss him dearly

The smiles on their faces give me happiness. I congratulate the musicians!!!
Aw, watching the elderly smile to such HAPPY music, made me smile!!
Love how the cello was used exclusively as a percussion instrument lol
He does actually play it as well in this video @ 01:39.
You haven't seen 2 cellos obviously. It's a versatile instrument

That is how you break it. He smacks it like a drum. He is rich so he can rebuy it

This takes me back growing up I loved watching all the Charlie Brown holiday episodes and regular season episodes. This song always made me want to get up and dance.
You have one of the most kindest hearts in the world, if only I could do what you do.
How kind of them to play such beautiful music for the elderly! Amazing :)
I've watched this multiple times and it never gets old! Love it! Especially the residents grooving to the music!
To the lady in the green pants suit outfit, YOU GO GIRL!!!
right, tho?
Yeah!!! I would like to be her when I get that old... joyful and full of energy, no matter the circumstances...
XD
I come back to this and the smiles it brings me.
PLEASE have you grandchildren bring this ability and joy to us in our twilight years
I watch this many times every year, and I still get joy from the amount of joy the guys have performing, and the audience has listening.

It’s like the gang of Charlie Brown grew up and started dancing again.
I love these guys I wish I could play with them I’m a pianist as well.
Have you considered giving mini-concerts, maybe with a fellow musician, in your area LTC facilities?
I love the looks of joy on their faces. This is so pure.
I loved that old lady at the end
and your awesome piano skills of course

That's so nice of you guys to go play for that retirement home. My young women's/ young men's group goes every year around Christmas time.
OMG You guys are amazing. Seeing the expressions on the faces of the residents is priceless. After the COVID -19 lockdown I hope you can tour as many facilities as possible. Our seniors need this dose of joy. God bless you both.
That first solo dancer in the green pantsuit was Feelin’ It! She has some moves!
How can anyone not smile for the whole time? I love seeing the joy in others. 2019? I hope this made you groove as much as it did to me.
My favorite piano tune in the world. So cool to share it with these folks.
This was very kind of you to do this. Thank you. A little kindness is really needed today.
I love this!!! I miss the Charlie Brown specials. They always brought a smile to my face. So many fond memories. The theme song is also my cell phone ringtone.

Fantastic. Brings back the good ol' memories of Charlie Brown
This added2-5 years to the lifespan of those oldies. Good Job, boys.
Most people think a cello is only a cello.... but no, a cello is also an entire drum kit AND a set of maracas 😂 Keep it up you guys 👍
For soooo many reasons it would take me days to describe I FIRMLY believe the Piano Guys' magistral master pieces of music were sent by GOD from Heaven through these two beautiful souls..GOD BLESS them now and always...

If you can do something well enough that puts huge smiles on peoples faces and encourages them to dance then you’ve done a great service. Thank you to the piano guys for making the lives of these seniors happier. ❤❤

More nursing homes and local bands needs to do this. Giving back to those who deserve it.
I love it when old people have a good time, it's so cute!
My late father loved live music at his rest home. He was always excited to tell me. These folks are having a great time. 👍
They all wished they could dance like the grandma in green! I can tell they all loved it
Hahaha
she's doing a dance from the 20s called the Charleston
