I hope season 3 is only 3 episodes then a 3 hour war movie with ‘balls to the wall’ carnage. I would definitely watch that on IMAX at least 3x, probably more!

I cannot help but think also that as you said, Rhaenyra has so many of the great houses on her side...the Riverlords, the Arryns, the Starks...why does she not wait for these northern and eastern armies to consolidate her power? She could probably bide her time for 6 months at this point and then be in a better position. That is really what bothers me so much about the show at this point. There is no competent character to be found anywhere.
Another hot take: Why did HBO not let create an outline with george for an entirely different universe where they could truly tell the story they want to tell? As you guys point out...the dance of the dragons is a story about a group of horrible, power hungry people who let an entire continent burn? Why not create another universe if you want to tell a different story?
How does this channel have such a massive subscriber count and such abysmal views? 7.5k views in 8 days for a channel that has close to 3M subs?? Those are the kind of views I’d expect from a channel with less than 100k subs. Can anyone explain this to me??
SPOILERS: I have an idea to redeem Alicent. Alicent should have secretly brought Aegon to hide him on dragonstone. Instead of being surprised that he’s gone, it was always her plan. That would be better than what we got.
I don't think the writers & showrunner have any intention of redeeming Alicent. They only care about keeping Rhaenyra as a fan fav. The Queen Dowager serves this purpose.
Why do they keep reminding us of a meaningless prophecy and an apocalyptic war that never actually happens? Game of thrones was one of the biggest disappointments in the history of television and I don't want to be reminded of it.
This is unironically the BEST breakdown i have seen of the episode. I wish it was 5 hours longer
