I was wondering why he didn't include women but after some thought it made sense. Males and females have so many different struggles, desires and issues. I think an experienced woman would do a much better job at guiding other women.
Gotta say man, I am a bit disappointed. No matter where you go or what you do we will all be routing for you. He 100% had this. He had a fantastic thing going. I don’t see this being as profitable as the eso videos.
I'm a bit confused as to why this wasn't just a new channel. Im just guessing because it already had subs, but this removes quite a bit of those subs. It's a transition from gaming to religion. I'm assuming something deep happened, perhaps financially? Usually one of the main factors if you convert from gaming to religion.
@@Billsomebody89 he had the subs so he would not be starting a new channel from nothing. He will definitely loose subs because of this. If this new direction doesn’t work out and he goes back to gaming he won’t get those subs back. He should have started a new channel. He has a patreon and people are sub to that, he is changing that as well. So people will be leaving and he is loosing monthly income from that as well.
Is it a transition to religion? Seems like a transition to just focus on navigate life. Obviously he comes from a Christian viewpoint.. But I don't know that immediately makes it a religious channel.
I get the sense from his last two videos, that he isn't concerned about the finances. Being that he recognizes he will loose a lot of subs, has addressed that, and is doing it anyway. Instead of this being a business decision, this seems like a quality of life decision. Sounds like video games were no longer fulfilling, and he is has a passion for helping people. He is doing what he feels best, and wants to help people with something more than just video games. I'm interested to see where this goes.
I see this as a very common thing among people that find religion. They feel like they have to give up everything that alot of "churches" say is negative. Honestly this is just sad for someone that had a great channel going. I don't see this lasting very long.

I found this focus on willing to provide guidance to young men creepy, especially with how many people claiming to be religious leaders are... Unhealthy in their choices towards younger people.
And this religious illimunation to look concerningly like a sectarian drift.
Also, what the hell is the point of making your whole purpose paywall locked? That's not at all a good model when so many other channels can make this for free. Of course, that's the typical modern Christian model. Make money off of spiritual predation.

He grew up as a boy and he’s now a man so he’s way more qualified to speak on boys/men’s mental health issues etc rather than women. Teenage boys and men don’t get as much support as women do so I think that’s where he’s going. He’s trying to be a male role model for those who don’t have it.
To be honest, I subscribed to his gaming content so I’ll no longer be watching his channel and I don’t necessarily agree with renaming this channel. He should’ve just made a new one in my opinion, but I wish him luck!

As a down to earth Christian who games a lot i think I've got the best of both worlds. I'm not extreme about it and when im not gaming I'm writing my first book that I've been working on for 9 months. What you're doing now is good because today's youth are questionable at times. I think it's fantastic that you are doing this as I think the more amazing male role models and balanced men in the world the better.
