Hey Adam, I agree that less phone time is a great idea, though my handwriting is so bad nowadays that I struggle to write things down and get hand cramps lol!
I agree with you. I stopped using physical note books and switched to a Boox digital note book because of the large amount of space and ability to make nesting note books on a similar subject, it is also a reader and I can draw on it. When I write on paper I use my Parker fountain pen
I keep a small planner on my person. I really love being able to write things down, check things off, etc. I find I also remember more things and find myself not over scheduling myself.
Love tech and work most of my day at a computer. However, I always use a Mont Blanc piston filled fountain pen both at work and home (Mont Blanc calls them "writing instruments"). I take copious notes where recording is not prudent. Fountain pens are so smooth and effortless and, for me, no hand cramps after long note-taking sessions.
I get what you're saying, I used to love fancy pens in school. Been writing my first book for almost a year and I've alternated between my phone and laptop, latter being completed drafts. If I had been writing physically...my fathers two vehicles would've been filled with wasted paper from all my errors/rewrites. But I understand writing digitally allows mistakes and the ease of fixing them.
A few other things I would say is good about hand writhing things.
1. it is not as easily hacked now days with a lot of hacking and piracy on your computer that can be a very helpful (and yea people know what your doing) I was talking to my girl friend servile times by phone and text or messaging and servile times an advertisement came up with the things we were talking about.
2. It is good to learn script not a lot of people know it now days and that is sad (now I do at use the hand writhing option on my tablet but yes paper and pen can be nice and a lot better and easier then a slick screen lol.
3. I agree tech is useful (seeing I am a tech lol) so it is a good things to use but I also like doing things the old way so we keep an ability that if something were to happen or we were to be camping it would not be a nightmare to not have the phone or tablet.
4. also it keeps us in touch with our past or parents, grandparents and ancestors.
5. Also I have read that it does help with then brain and the mind helping memory and ingenuity and much more.
It is good to keep the knowledge of how to do the simple (so to speak) simple things so when need be we can use it, and as Adam stated an hand written letter is meaningful and can show that you took time an care to write it by hand rather then a printed world.
I always prefer pencil and paper , to write some game stuff - mostly when i play "hacking" games like Uplink thats add more deeper impression when you think.
Yeah, honestly turning off my phone when I technically don't need it is so refreshing.
I came to this exact conclusion near the end of last year. Me and my friends started carrying pocket journals everywhere we go. In general keeping one with our phones in our pockets. Life changing. There's actually an awesome video on here with a guy talking about how a pocket journal has replaced his phone

Your channel is free falling buddy, I know you stated that video games are having a negative effect on you so don't make those types of videos, but dude these videos are not it make something that is meaningful to you that you want to show us. Last couple vids are like common sense youtube shorts helpful tips. Now that genre might just not be for me but judging by the view count they are not for a lot of people either. Sorry to be blunt and probably rude but felt like I had to say something as I loved your past content. Either way good luck with your future endeavors :)

He's already stated video games were having a negative affect in his personal life. Good on him getting his priorities right. Some things are more important than a youtube channel. The fact you came here just to gloat is a good example of why people need to disconnect from the internet and spend more time with their family. Too many miserable people online who just want to tear someone down.

He's not gonna be able to do this if nobody watches dummy. Also, the video games having a negative effect on his life is entirely his fault in how he used the medium. Not video games itself.
