Hi, we didn’t pull any weeds. It included the mulch and install, but since it was the first time we had worked at this house, we edged the beds as a free extra to try and leave a lasting impression and get more work in the future. Thanks for watching!
Couple things here. What are you paying for the mulch? You should have dumped the backyard mulch in the driveway closer to the garage. Too much wasted time walking from the road and back. You can charge more !!! Edging is never free. This customer is going to expect it from now on. Thanks for sharing. Watching in southern Michigan
Do you vary your prices depending on the cost of the mulch? I have some mulch I put in that costs me $35 and just recently another that is $100 per yard. I have always charged by the hour so this is an interesting concept about charging by yard installed.
Yes. If it cost more, price goes up. If it is easy access price goes down. If it’s hard access with steps or lots of plants on the way or far from the mulch pile price goes up. You need to take all this into play when quoting.
@@AaronBLandscaping I will have to think on this for my next installation. We are finishing off an acreage today , they didn't ask for a quote and we have the use of their skid steer for anything further away from the mulch that was delivered yesterday. Only 12 yards. I am new to your channel and will take a look to see if you have anything about quoting. I am in Alberta
Thats solid, we're averaging 167$/yrd installed
45$/h worked(per person)
+ materials w/10 % markup, from Contractor price(still less than residential)
Excellent!
Great content! Where in Canada are you?
Thank you, I appreciate that!
We are in southern Ontario.
Question, is this $175 per yard including the edging, pulling weeds and installation?

😁 $46/yard I believe.
Na, I told him it was free this time.
Thanks for watching!
@@AaronBLandscaping I charge 125 a yard installed unless there are 10 or more yards, then I charge 100.
I spread it as I go along. I've found creating piles creates gaps.
👍🏻

Very nice. What's your thoughts on the last landscaping call agents? I'm hearing that more and more companies are using them.
I am not sure what that is…
Nice content😍
Thank you
I need to raise my per yard rate lol 😂
Make sure you cover the costs of doing business! Thanks for watching :)
@@AaronBLandscaping for sure. One more question does the $175 include delivery?
