Nice Job! I have a Maltese Dog which is white in color. I have been having a tough time particularly with graphite drawing and watercolor trying to get a nice portrait. This should help. Thanks for posting.
Like one of your other viewers, I've been struggling with a Bichon x Shit -su ..a Bitty -Shit..lol anyhow - he could be a cousin to the dog you painted. thanks so much for sharing your time & the inspiration
+Karen Piukkula Hi Karen, sadly so many galleries have closed, in Victoria and Courtenay as well as several others that I have worked with over the years. My only gallery at the moment is my web site www.grantfuller.ca

At one time I believe you mentioned you use 200 lb paper....Is this something that you can only get in Canada? I've looked all over in the states for it and can't find it.
+Karen Piukkula I think it is marketed under the brand TH Saunders in the US (but it is made in England, either that or Waterford) If you can't find 200 lb. in the US, maybe look for a slightly heavier, say 250 or 300. Curry's own brand is what I use and they ship out of Toronto. 5 sheet packages about $32 cdn., good buy with the exchange rate these days.
Oh, I am so paralyzed by this medium, I think watercolor is only for very brave, self assured artists! Please tell me your first attempts were not so great, and that it took time for you to become this amazing....??
You're one of my favorite. Give such practical techniques and explain the what and why you're doing so well.
Very beautiful work, thank you for sharing
Very soft. I like how the dog blends into the background, yet the side in the light stands out. Also, very pretty colors.
That palette, with only 12, but large, wells and the generous mixing spaces, and foldable, is AWESOME!!
Wonderful video Grant. You make it look so easy!
Beautiful!!

Cute dog and great video! (I really liked the background of the painting, too!)
stuning!! your work is just beautiful!!
Thank you for your great video, I was looking for that very tutorial. A white dog was a mystery...but no longer!
Thank you for the narration, beautiful!
Nice with the soft colors. And, looks relatively fast.
