for 7 of the almost 12 years i lived in CA, i lived here in a guest house in Bel Air. once the car makes a right turn into the East Gate of Bel Air, it will take you on the EXACT path i traveled to my guesthouse for 7 years. at the 1:42 mark when the car hits its first stop sign (actually goes thru it), stops, and a pick-up pulls up on the left, that driveway in front of the car is 600 St. Cloud - that's the main entrance onto the property where i lived (guesthouse is on the north end of the property). as the car jogs to the left and continues back around to the right at the 2:24 mark you'll see a modern glass home that wasn't there when i lived there in the early 2000's. the owners bought two properties adjacent to the north end of their property, razed the homes (one of them was singer Mac Davis') and were intent on building two more homes on their property - one for each of their boys. as it happens..."life" happened and the owners divorced and the property was sold. i'm assuming it will or has been split into three properties but i can't confirm that. sad, because when i was there the property was a gorgeous piece of heaven in the thickness of LA. it was a surreal experience - something most people are not privy to. i have so many stories. if you have any questions, i'll be happy to answer them. :)
Shout out to you @SoCal Drive By! I thoroughly enjoyed this, and thank you for displaying the names of each street/road you went through. Very informative. Nimes has the highest priced houses in the U.S. with a road like that? I know they are driving super luxury cars as they get out of their houses but the LA government needs to re-carpet that road! 🤣
I was born in L.A but grew up in Mexico, I really want to go to L.A especially Venice Beach and the Santa Monica pier, even though that would mean being away from my loved ones in Mexico 😢
I’m not American, but I know that California is not greenish like this. How can Bel Air gives such humid forest vibes while situated among those barren LA neighborhood. 😅
Looks like no sidewalks to walk. Do the people walk in the street or on the edge? Nobody around like a ghost town. I guess that’s what living rich looks like. You can’t just be walking around.
They say that once in a lifetime dreams come true one day live in this place💛

Wow, such narrow roads with so many twists and turns. Wonder how they could ever do road work?
