- This is a short review of the stigma rotary tattoo machine from Amazon India. It is a budget tattoo machine. This video explains about my experience with the stigma tattoo machines
Thanks for this video. I was told ordering from Amazon was a reputable company etc so I figured that - that being said I could trust what they say until this video. I just received this same machine thinking it would be from the said company only to find out from your video that it is a knock off. Thanks for that and also what to look for in regards to this machine. I haven't taken mine apart yet as you did but I will just to make sure the grease on the bearings is spread properly. Although it being a knock off doesn't mean it can't be a decent machine an to keep it running smoothly I'm going to follow the steps from this video and maintain the machine as I would as if it were an expensive top dollar machine. This is my 1st time with a rotary motor like this ( other than the homemade 1's an those ya have to make sure the bushings and bearings are lubed up good so as to not burn em up) . Originally I was searching for how to change the stroke on this same Stigma model so if you have a video of what I need I would very much appreciate it if you were to let me know right away if an what video it is I should type in to bring it up.

to be honest I can feel your pain, but it's not a really bad machine though, you can practice using this and also do great stippling work and dot works with this machine, only thing I would not recommend is to do any of the lining shading and color packing as it will be seen in your work clearly, due to inconsistency and skin damage which will just ruin your career. just keep it well maintained and get to know the machine really really really well before you try it out on skin. and regarding the stroke , I really doubt you'll be able to change the stroke. I would go for a coil machine any day just because it's so versatile and lasts for years, ofcourse you need to know how to use a coil machine, once you master it, there's nothing stopping you. hope that helped

If you tighten the knob too tightly on the grip, the needle will go forward and stop and wont vibrate work.

@@xMichioHDx yes the spring is what helps push back the slider. And it also helps in providing a consistent hit.

Try to check if you can find springs for it... Try springs from stealth or other brands if it fits... Check if it works on fake skin.. if it works, well and good... If not then I would feel returning machine is good if there is an option to return due to sanitary reasons
What are the brown and black rubber band that came with it for how do u use them
that's strange, I didn't get any rubber bands with the machine. However you might have got it by mistake and there's absolutely no need for a rubber band as the needle bar sits on the clips on the slider which is meant for holding the needle. hope this helped
I just removed the spring to get the better result bt it's getting hot while running after 30 mint. Is that good removing the spring??
Removing the spring is a bad idea... But there could be other reasons for the temperature rise.. maybe you're running it on high voltage. Or not enough lubricant thus increasing the friction resulting in heating. Basically this machine is not worth it I'm sorry to say.
And there is no gud punch in skin while I work wt is the reason
I've used this machine for 1 year real review is it's a cheap machine, Motor is cheap doesn't fit properly , this machine is very noisy . But it will do the job some how i would suggest go save some more money any buy a quality tattoo machine
so true buddy. Its not worth it buying this machine, but good if you're just starting and want to practice on fake skin. Should never use it to tattoo on anybody.
@fersha gus if you have a tight budget go for hummingbird machine , dragonhawk machines, stealth but if money is not the issue go for Fkiron , bishop, Cheyenne

The one I have is a knockoff.. it sucks. Usually the machines that come along with a kit is a knockoff. That's how the whole kit is priced so low to make it attractive to new artists. You need to buy from reputed dealers to make sure you get good ones

I’m sorry that was crap he didn’t show anything that was in the kit apart from the motor where was everything else that you get in the kit because all I saw was the motor that was it…
It's not a kit it's just the machine which I bought. All I got was the machine and the cable to connect the machine to the power supply. This is a knock off machine not the original one.
