@@shop_last they do know more people search “tattoo guns” and that’s why they’re trying to teach non tattooers that it’s a tattoo machine. So now you know :)
@@jediknight2117 I get that! And I definitely could have done a better job at explaining that in the video. You’re so brave!! I started practicing on fake skin over a month ago and I haven’t worked up the nerve to do one on myself quite yet- one thing I noticed that you may wanna watch out for, perhaps take a good sized glob out of the tub of ointment before tattooing instead of dipping directly into it every time you need to apply it to your skin, just to avoid any possible contamination 👍🏻✨
You are definitely right on that one! I’ll probably have to get rid of that whole tub since I did that:/ and I don’t know if brave is the right word😂 I think it’s smart to wait until you feel confident to do it👍🏼

Literally just finished drawing out my transfer and watching this before I start bc I didn’t want to tattoo alone lmao, great work, do you have an Instagram?
Not a bad tattoo but I definitely wouldn’t use that Vaseline for any other projects there was a little bit of cross-contamination going on when you were doing the tattoo and then scooping it out of the container and wiping the tattoo a couple of times you can run into issues like getting staff good work though :-)
It's called A&D, it's a pretty common ointment for tattooing, helps keep your skin moisturized while also making your skin lubricated for the tattoo machine. It also helps with the healing process! It's similar to Vaseline. And the clear liquid was just rubbing alcohol.
I did for another tattoo that I did on a friend, but in this video I used an ink I got from a local tattoo supply store. The ink that came in the kit worked pretty well too👍🏼
Hmm, try checking your connection to the machine and the power box. It is a super cheap machine from Amazon so I wouldn't be terribly surprised if you got sent a faulty one :/
It is a permanent tattoo. Anytime a needle and ink break through your skin it is permanent. Temporary tattoos are only applied to the outside of the skin. If you actually tattoo yourself (with a tattoo gun) it will be permanent.
^ ALWAYS the only "temporary" tattoo you can do with needles and ink is with terrible quality inks that fade, itll still be there but itll fade to light colors and look bad

Well you might start saving now for the proper equipment and aftercare because its definitely not cheap and start practicing drawing completely in pen on paper to get a grasp of how permanent tattoos are and give you a chance to perfect your technique
I'm going to have to agree with Nialler on this one. You'll want to invest in better machine down the road. This machine would be totally fine to start with just to get a feel for it. But if you want to make it into a profession you'll definitely need to get a better one. I would also recommend getting into an apprenticeship with a tattoo shop once you have practiced and are ready to make that transition :)
That’s a completely understandable fear😂 I used the amazon ink for the coloring though and I was fine! I also have pretty sensitive skin so I think you’d be fine👍🏼 it is important to keep a very clean working space and to routinely clean you tattoo as you’re doing it with green soap. Since you’re puncturing you’re skin it’s important to use a clean fresh needle and making sure you’re skin and work space are clean, that’s how you’d get an infection. If you do all of those things you should be good👍🏼
Youre not supposed to use that ink on anything other than synthetic skin, real tattoo ink will cost a little more but its worth it for good coverage, minimal health risks and vibrant colors!
I think it depends on what ink you get. Make sure to read the bottle and make sure it’s good to use on skin. Mine said it was good to use, though it is probably a good idea to invest in better ink anyways.

It’s manageable to a degree. Take LOTS of breaks, make sure to stand every few minutes, it’s actually quite painful if you don’t:/

Was that baby ointment you was using on your tattoo as you were tatting urself ? And what was the liquid you used in the clear container?
