I've got an astra G run about I always carry a jumper wire in my toolkit with spade crimp connectors on just in case it gets the dreaded ecu internal wiring fault to fuel pump relay!
It looks very similar to the astra g fuel pump ecu wiring!
Why does it take out the cranking .does that power up other circuits also
If ECU isn't fully powered it won't authorise start

So the missing power to the fuel pump relay also causes a no crank...
@@DylanRabier yes, it's an ECU internal fault. System relay and fuel pump relay control fail. Also very common to get O2 sensor codes as well.

Dealing with similar issue right now, corsa d 1.3 58 plate, replaced alternator and service, now it’s not starting was raining heavily but I had engine covered with waterproof sheet, replacing alternator cos of limp mode battery voltage dropping, and stalling at idle. ECU is common on these but I’m a total fitter, no idea bout circuits, thought it might be immobiliser, had someone out who’s a key programmer immobilisation person, and he said I can’t do it there’s no communication from ECM/ECU? No clicks, at all, no fuel pump priming, P0685, on your other corsa vid red one, was a corroded connector beneath engine fuse box, gonna check that otherwise clueless, any ideas? Awesome vid. Highly skilled technician. 🎉

Hi, did you have a part 2 /fix for the corsa d non start, ecu not commanding the fuel pump. Is caused by a know issue with the ecus?
Dang ... I couldn't keep up with you but have a Corsa B that won't start after battery change and a new alternator belt. If I turn the switch I can hear the fuel pump in the tank so I guess my fuel pump relay has to be intact then?
Won’t start first attempt keeps clicking but will second or third attempt problem happens for about a week then goes away for a few weeks then comes back again, car is vauxhall corsa 1.2 diesel 16plate 55k miles.
Hello there, I’m hoping you can help, my friend has a Vauxhall corsa 2011 limited edition, hasn’t been started in over a year and a half, went to start it earlier, started first time run for about a minute, then cut out and wouldn’t start again, any thoughts? I believe the fuel filter is in the tank and not a serviceable part

It's the fuel pump relay supply power.

It all depends, I use all the common info packages. They have their individual strengths and weaknesses. HGS very kindly give me permission to show their info on my social media and it meets most of my daily needs for wiring.

Hi Steve is that the lisle brand relay bypass tool. I’ve looked at buying this type but seem quite expensive, in your opinion are they worth there price tag ?
Yes, this is the snap on badge version which makes the lisle kit seem cheap. Exactly the same tool. Worth every penny, a real time saver 👍

Hi Steve great videos you do, it's helped me with my daughter's car while bored in lockdown.
I have the same issue 1.7volt showing for battery voltage but fully charged I've bridged the relay, it fired up once but no revs.
I'm struggling with the manual on the laptop for wiring. What was the cure on yours please.

Never had trouble with any of my Autels, but my launch pad 2 suffered digitise screen fail. The Joys of live or simulcasting.
What put you onto the fuel pump relay first of all? Have you done another checks prior to vid?
Easiest point to check, didn't hear fuel pump run when I first turned key on 👍
