Also use the hole to bend a hook to straighten it. Or close it after a big fish has opened it a bit.

Good pliers but more aimed for freshwater fishing. A size 3/0 ,4/0 ,5/0 circle won't fit in the holes.

I definitely bought a duff pair.
Because imo they ate the worst pliers i ever used!
The cutters dont cut they just crimp the braid.
The jaws dont line up properly and they dont close fully.
I bought mine from kastking direct .
Mine went in the trash

Yeah….. I unfortunately bought a pair of these. There’s a reason why kastking’s cost $30 and other brands cost upwards of $75. It’s like comparing snap-on to Harbor freight. One will do the job a few times and the other will do the job for years.

You can't go wrong with anything Kastking......except saving about 75% of the cost the fishing snobs pay. That's just my experience for over 7 years and probably get some extra things. Like twice the ball bearings on reels , double the drag and fast customer service. Same thing with Sougayilang.
