- What to eat in Sardinia Italy - In this video we will show you some of the traditional food of the Gallura area of Sardinia. We will take you to a typical Agriturismo and show you what to eat in Sardinia. Despite of being an island in Sardinia some of the best food is not seafood. In fact Sardinia has a great tradition of cheese making with sheep milk. Also in Sardinia you can taste some delicious pasta and of course an incredible slow roasted suckling pig. Join us for a delicious Sardinian meal. We filmed the video at the Agriturismo San Giovanni near Arzachena.
We are two Canadians currently living in Italy. We moved to Italy in November 2018 to start a new chapter of our life's and we would like to share our story with. We hope you enjoy it.

About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists - but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew - and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.
Sardinia Italy is one of the most visited place ricca della natura i cibi tradizionali yummy.
Very true 👍🏻

Thank you 🙏
as usual great video, one suggestion I learned from my sardinian dad, when tasting different foods, is to eat a piece of bread in between to balance your palate (pane coccoi is especially great)..never heard of sweet and sour in traditional sardinian food but would love to try it!
Thank you Fed 🙏
I love to come to Sardinia,I hope one day soon ciao ❤️❤️❤️
Keep us posted
This is super helpful and definitely informative! Any top 3 Agriturismo of your favourites you would recommend? Thanks heads :)
Our favorite is the one we show in the video that is called San Giovanni, we also love another one by Santa Teresa di Gallura called Tegghia

@@TravelAddictsLife I know it, but I can't find it here, sigh
😢😢
Is there anything Rick doesn’t want to pair with a glass of red wine :)
Let me think about it!!
Tough question 🤣🤣
Hi Guys, I'm really enjoying your videos. I was curious if taxi's are readily available in this area? We want to book a cab to this Agriturismo. We are staying in a hotel close to Golfo Aranci. Does the Agriturismo arrange transportation ? Our holiday is in September and trying to pre plan as much as possible. Thank you, keep up the great work, it's invluable !!
Thank you so much 🙏 taxis are not available but you can ask the restaurant to arrange one for you
Quelli sono i ciusoni non gnocchi, in Sardegna si fanno i malloreddus(gnocchetti) , i ravioli non sono sardi, ma si fanno i culurgiones.. Po' garidari
It's call Procheddu, original name
Procheddu ? Veramente ? Io sapevo porceddu 😂
I like how little fella is not chewing his food … at all 😅
😁
How do I find this restaurant?
It is called agriturismo San Giovanni
@@TravelAddictsLife Thank you for informing me. Thankfully the restaurant is only a short drive away from where we're staying. Four courses for only €38 - don't mind if I do!
Including wine 👍🏻
Salami pancetta coppa?! 😂😂Non sei in Emilia Andrea
Food screams heart disease!!
The ravioli , beans and zucchini...and a glass of that red wine..look the best....!!.
Unfortunately..they don't serve fresh greens with their delicious olive oil....
Definitely a piece of that sheep cheese......
We've a our flag.. And an Italian it's know nothing of Sardinia
