great job. I too am a big fan of mtmwood. I used to watched his videos when he used to show the dimensions of his cuts, and copy them. When he started selling the plans online, I went back and purchased them. Even the ones I had already made. He is a really nice guy and returns my emails quickly whenever I had a question

Excellent result! Beautiful board! Why this video doesn't have ten times the views is beyond me! Great job!

Excellent work mate, you must be well chuffed(that’s English for very pleased).
I was nervous for you throughout, but as soon as you put the finish on,all that hard work springs to life. I’ve just got into making boards, and I can honestly say I’m a long way of that standard of yours and MTMwood yet. Thanks for the video, onwards and upwards.👍

That's a hefty looking chopping block, great work! Two things, you have a really nice shop and I'm glad I'm not the only one who wears sandals while woodworking. I always get dinged for wearing sandals in my videos, ("they aren't the proper safety shoes")

Yup, I get comments about the safety stuff all the time... I look at it like this, the same way I prefer older vehicles as opposed to new ones. Too many safety features takes the onus of safety off of the operator. I practice obvious safety procedures, but I also prefer be comfortable. That said, I do have to ensure that I focus on everything I do to ensure that I don't make mistakes. If I do something stupid, it's my fault and not that a piece of clothing or such kept me safe.

You did a fabulous job my friend. I attempted one of mtm’s boards and fsiled miserably, of course I have limited tools to work with. But once I have a better shop and more tools, I will try it again. Nice work!

this is really a piece of art! quick question: how essential would be it have a drum sander? I wanted to build this pattern but just hesitant due to drum sander. Dont own one since dont have the space for it.

I purchased his plans for the Butterfly board and downloaded the PDF file. There is also an skp file that I can't figure out how to open. Is this something I need? Any recommendations on how to open? Your board turned out amazing!

It's a sketchup file. It will open in that program.

That technique to make sure they are flat is smart! Awesome vid! What are those clamps called that you have running across to hold it together?

Hi, how do you determine the order in which you put them at 10:44? I bought the mtm wood plan from amazon and there's no indication for this specific step. When I tried to buy directly from mtm wood, it cannot accepts payment because of the Ukraine war. Thanks a lot for the answer and your awesome channel.

I'm kinda new at these 3D cutting boards but how do I convert t0 imperial? I realize I can just look up the equivalents but they aren't exact?????

Beautiful board man! Well done. Where do you get the metal emblems you attach to the side? Do they have your logo?

Second Son Woodworks I got them through logotags.com. I provided them my logo, then we worked out the dimensions.
