Hello There
Unboxing and Building the Lego Razor Crest, then building a cardboard Razor Crest with the box that came in
I wasn't trying to make a screen accurate model, only used pictures for reference and changed some things, but the basic shape is there
the main material was the Lego and shipping box, I've also used some corrugated carboard, cardstock, clay, glue gun & glue, aerosol and acrylic paints

Congratulations on finishing another fantastic project! You did such a great job of bringing the ship to life. And you're right, one of the best things about adding weathering to a prop is to hide the sins and/or make them seem intentional, lol!

Seeing how you are not afraid of scale, have you though about life size droids at all? Maybe IG-88 or an imperial probe droid? Something with some interesting shapes which you clearly excel at?

I don't know where you live... I'm a retired Disneyland Cast Member and if you ever find yourself in southern California, let me know. I'm a huge Star Wars Fan (and Disney too). I would enjoy showing Disneyland (Star Wars, Galaxy's Edge) taking you on Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run as my guest. We could even run into the the Mandalorian, and Grogu. I would enjoy showing you both parks (Disney California Adventure). You can bring 2 friends as well as my guest.

@@krltslnd4186 Was it the video or the lighting conditions of the model? Or do I feel it`s a bit more muted and matte finish than the one in the series? It should have a bit of a specular to the hull no?
like in the series, this one really looks different depending on the light (in the series is always showing more damage and looks different when is cgi, or the model or the real size) ...lets just say this is the rebuild version in desperate need of a wash(+ it has one major change in the shape😶😛)

Exceptional skills sir!! When I saw the thumbnail I assumed this was a "detailed" Lego (or plastic model) kit that was added to and was impressed by the realism, but to scratchbuild the entire thing from cardboard...mind blown. Not to mention the paint job, your ability to make cardboard appear to be metal was amazing. The weathering was top notch as well. Superb job sir!!

Unbelievable work bro. Just a tip, if you use "self etching primer" it helps fill in all scratches and maybe the rough parts on the cardboard. Maybe worth a shot. But wow man, I'm glad this came up on my feed, I live watching what people can create out of nothing. Phenomenal work, I know this took weeks. 👏 well done. I dont watch it but it looks good to me.

AWESOME!!!!!! Before painting you could have done a Mod Podge coat, that would seal and harden the card board. Great job.
