One thing I know about gardening is it’s not an instant skill. It takes years of practice and requires practice!!! I am four years into it. If not five, and I still struggle with many aspects. Keep it up!

You have a balcony with a beautiful view, but with that refrigerator and washing machine it looks sad, I would remove that and put some flowers and some chairs as a resting place
She obviously has two out door spaces. The front one where she was reading and the back where the washing machine is.
