    Hi Peace & Pistons, great review, big thumb up. Each time I call it SYM like "BMW", friends and family correct me so a big credit to you here. One thing you forgot is lack of Start stop technology where both PCX and N-Max WIN big time and it's a VERY important feature for delivery riders. Biggest rival for this model and for any for this matter is Honda SH 125 that is in words of a song "simply the best": bigger storage, better looking, start stop, no tunnel - key for delivery, reliable as fxxx and not that more expensive plus you carry a Honda badge. Thumb up number 29

    The only downside to this scooter in my opinion is putting the fuel cap under the seat rather than trying to put it in between were feet will go. Otherwise it’s awesome and really considering buying it. Are you planning a review of the SYM ADX 125? One I am interested in buying but not many reviews of it to find on UA-cam

    • @PEACEPISTONS
      @PEACEPISTONS  10 місяців тому +1

      The fuel cap location is a bit of a Marmite choice but it does add an extra level of security to stop people nicking your fuel haha. No plans for the SYM ADV, since making this video I've moved to Italy and work for Italjet, makers of the worlds finest scooter!

    Can you tell me about the break wires? They look like they block the full view of the screen. I really like this scooter but every video I have seen those wires always seem to be in the way of the dash, especially blocking the lower part of it. Compared to the Honda PCX, which also has digital dash but its still fully visible and its brake wires don't seem to be so noticeable. Maybe it's because of the angle in the videos....but please tell me if it's like that in real life because I do want to buy either this scooter, the PCX, or the Honda Forza (125) sometime next year.

  • @shortyp

    I disagree with you because I have the Blaze 2 150cc scooter. It's been very dependent for me, and I have had for over a year now, so you need to take time to try it for yourself before making a decision on it

      @PEACEPISTONS  Рік тому

      The Blaze scooter offers an affordable option, but its durability over the long term might be questionable, which is evident in its pricing. If you’re seeking a budget-friendly scooter without concerns on longevity, it could meet your needs. However, for those looking for a dependable ride beyond a year, it might be advisable to explore other options.

    It appears it is more maxi sized than a PCX or NMAX.

    • @PEACEPISTONS
      @PEACEPISTONS  3 роки тому +1

      Wouldn't say maxi, it's bigger than your average scooter but not quite as big as a Maxi
      For reference the PCX comes in at 76 inches long and the Jet X 78 inches long

    • @clangerbasher
      @clangerbasher 3 роки тому +1

      @@PEACEPISTONS It just looks bigger. It seems common in the scooter world for companies to offer one body with two engines. And that mostly happens with maxi sized ones. It does look a nice bike.

    nah its hp and torque are lower than its rivals pcx and nmax here in my country plus
    nmax and pcx abs versions are $200 more than this non abs bike
    thats whyh its sales here is so low you barely even see it on roads

    • @PEACEPISTONS
      @PEACEPISTONS  6 місяців тому +1

      Incorrect, the PCX 125 has 12.3 HP, and the NMAX has 12 HP, both figures taken from the official Honda and Yamaha websites. The SYM Jet X has 12.5 HP
      The Jet X is available with ABS or CBS. Some countries sell both versions, and some don't.

    • @PEACEPISTONS
      @PEACEPISTONS  6 місяців тому +1

      And it you want to dig into even deeper, the PCX weighs 130kg, NMAX 131kg, and the Jet X is lighter at 120kg, based on official manufacturer data. The power-to-weight ratio is crucial for performance. With its higher power and lower weight, the Jet X outperforms both the PCX and NMAX.

      @@markangelogarcia2584 Well to be fair, this video was made "IN MY COUNTRY" and clearly features the Jet X 125, not sure why your commenting about other versions not featured in this video. So the comments made in my video about the 125 version giving better performance over the PCX and NMAX are true and valid.
