If we can make extraction of oil and virgin plastic so cheap, then we can make the price of these other bioplastic technologies cheap too.

Great as ever! the hammer point is that it is so cheap!! No corporation pays for the pollution! Think we need a Global tax with revenues to UN to massively increase the price at point of production. This would also work for all fossil fuel extraction as well. Also Airlines and shipping industries rely on cheap fossil fuels and no Global control or tax levying. Global economies are going to need funding after covid-19 and this could be a game changer!! Have to cut through the industrial and political elites who live off this and for the grand mass of humanity to say "enough is enough"
