Just ordered one of these yesterday, but not the step through because it claimed it could handle 400 pounds. I need something to help me start getting more exercise. I am 6'2" and 390 pounds at the last doctor visit. Thanks for the video showing this bike is capable.

The title of this Video was the reason it caught my attention, since i am 6.1 and weigh about 380 pounds and wanted an ebike that can carry me for some workout and fun combined. Since most ebike reviewers dont bring that weight it is very difficult to know if a bike can really live up to the promise of a high load capacity, thank you for that proof!
I think this bike testing thing for big people would be a perfect Addition to your channel and great publicity for bike manufactorers that claim to have sturdy bikes! Himiway should send you the cobra to test how the full suspension holds up at max payload! I want a cobra, but i am worried that the suspension will bottom out at every serious bump? Whatever, thanks for this great video, and i hope you will do more bike videos in the future! Have fun and stay safe!

The Cobra has an air valve on the rear suspension piston that allows you to pump more, or less air in to adjust to your ride. It's rated for 400 pounds as well, so there is no reason that it can't handle that weight and sag. But for clarity, I would drop a message to Himiway and ask them just to be sure.

I'm 5'9" 350 lbs. I'm ordering mine next week. I'm getting black though. I wish they made step-through in black. I wish I could find someone around here to show what peddle assistant means. I just want throttle top speed. @ 6'3" you could handle the black great.

I'm 6'3" and 325lbs and my two 2016 Radrover fat tire are rated for 275lbs. I haven't had any issues with my Radrover work commuting or single track trail riding with around 3700 miles on each ebike. Looking at upgrading to Himiway Cobra or Cobra Pro because of the extra weight capacity. I'm probably pushing 350lbs when work commuting with rack bag, tools, flat repair, water, and commuter backpack with change of clothes, cold or wet weather gear, and lunch.
I also do Mr. Tuffy liners, two 2oz bottles of Stans tire sealant per fat tire, Cirrus Kinekt suspension seatpost, wider MTB pedals for my size 14 shoes, Sunlite 0-60 degree adjustable handlebar extender, and Cloud-9 cruiser seat.

I own the grey and white zebras. I love these bikes. I rode 27 miles full throttle and only used 2 bars. It really needs a torque sensor though. Gonna be putting it on both of mine soon.

That is the one reason how come I'm thinking about going with aventon aventure 2. but I'm still not sure. looking for 400 lb weight limit, even though I have already lost 25 pounds since the beginning of the year. and have a torgue sensor. I want it to be able to help well enough for a hill. We have some big hills around where I live mostly because of living near a river valley.

Not sure if you already made your purchase, but the Zebra Pro comes with a torque sensor. I just upgraded to the Himiway A7 Pro (mid-drive w/ torque sensor) from the original Himiway Cruiser. Honestly, not sure the torque sensor is "better" than the cadence sensor. I'm realizing I am more lazy than I thought.@@kudostothewiz2703

I’ve never had an e-bike before and am seriously looking at this one because of your review. I am wondering if I should go for a cadence or torque? What did you and your wife go with? I know it comes down to personal preference and dependent on your riding style and environment.
I’m about 380+ and want to drop some weight but also don’t wanna over work myself.
Like I said I have no experience on EBikes so I don’t what to expect.

@@makesuperiordesigns The mid drive and torque sensor came out after I purchased mine. Both that I have are cadence and hub driven. I would consider the torque sensor and mid drive an upgrade, though I have not tested them.

Terrible video. Why would you think in an e bike video that the viewer would want to be seeing the top of tour head throughout the video. You need to rethink your camara set up.
