Yeah, I heard around six hundred too. I went to go buy the lift and they have nothing close to that price. Its well over eight hundred dollars . You can do the ready lift with fox shocks for that price.
I'd been looking to level my 2017 F250. After I saw your review, I ordered this exact suspension set up from my local Carli dealer. They installed it this week with the 35" diameter LT285/75R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the factory 18" wheel. Not only is the ride comfort a dramatic improvement, but once aligned I no longer have the truck drifting to the right. I had that issue early on and my Ford service department was never able to get it right.
Great video as always and I thought this was EXACTLY what I've been looking for - "Base price in the $600 range"? Looks like they've doubled+ in price in the past year?
_I had to piece all my stuff for my level kit; nice to see they have a whole kit for everyone. I bought a Carli dif-armor, extended brake lines, cast set, adjustable track bar, steering stabilizer system, Bilstein shocks, and leveling blocks for the upper coil. It would have been nice to buy a complete kit at once. Did you use a track bar bracket for the stock track bar or a new adjustable track bar? Because for my own build in my back shop, the front axle was out about 2 1/2 out from the center. Until I put the new track bar in and on, then the final adjustment and got it 1/16 from the center again. She rides beautifully; she a 2019 F 250 6.2. The only reason I didn't go with new coil springs is that there's a difference in the rating of a diesel coil set and a gas 6.2 coil set. From my understanding, and didn't want to stiffen up the front end. Many people don't even pick up on that difference, and it will play a part on the ride too! It's old school thinking from working with a big block and small block muscle cars! Just passing on the knowledge._
We’ve always sold the levels as a kit! You’re correct in adding a track bar though. This truck has a Carli track bar, which is the proper way to correct geometry after a level. As for the gas trucks, Carli also just released gas specific front coils and shocks that are tuned to achieve the best ride possible.
It depends on the system you’re looking for. Gas signature series are ready to go, and the King and Fox systems are just waiting on shocks. Fox is going to be the most delayed.
Great looking kit that sure seems to rival the commuter performance with a "carli" brand shock instead. So this kit + matching rear shocks + track bar and then just need to decide to either to sway bar drop links or stainless endlinks to complete the "driveway" install? Obviously that $1k front torsion is sweet but any preference between the drop links and nicer endlinks? I assume for the couple hundo its worth it to go stainless.
The only reason to do the end links is to make the upgrade to the torsion sway bar easier. If you never plan to upgrade then just do the drops! For the record, the shocks in this system are actually unique to Carli and not re-branded. They have unique tuning profiles and are made private label for Carli by Eibach. They’re a pretty impressive bang for the buck compared to everything else at that price point!
@@CJCOffRoad private label move by carli was a brilliant business decision. Keeps with the rest of their lineup being very unique and even guys like me who tow more than play a perfect option. I think I know what santa will be bringing me and it's going to have the initials CJC on the box....
Kidneys...can't choose between the Big 3 3/4ton due to ride quality plus quality built trucks. If this kit can save my kidneys from getting wrecked in a stock Ford I'm moving Ford to the top of my choices. I'll be reviewing a lot more videos with this kit.
When choosing options for this kit, what are the differences between low and high mount steering stabilizers. Pro and cons of each as far and performance/function.
We have a whole video coming on that topic and have discussed it in a few others, but to put it simply, go with the high mount to start, and then add the low mount if you need more control.
These are actually tuned to the platform and spring rates, while Fox shocks are just an off the shelf shock in the right length, with no tuning for the truck they're installed on.
Hey yall. Love the kit. Thinking about buy it. If I want to keep my stock rims and go 37s with this kit, would there be any problems? I have a 2019 f250 6.7. Thanks!
We typically like to if the budget allows. This system or the Commuter with a rear add a pack and the torsion sway bar offers an incredible street ride.
Shocks actually never increase height. The 1” lower stature of the 20+ fords is actually only up front, so this truck just has the front coils and rear factory leaf pack. If you want to add a little rear height you can always use a block on the factory pack, or go with one of Carli’s rear leaf spring upgrades. 👍
Do you have coil springs for a 6.2 gas supercab? Lighter weight truck. Also, Id like as much up travel as I can get. Are the bumpstop spacers necessary to keep the shocks from bottoming out? I only want to run 35s" and am willing to clearance for more travel. Thanks
This system is available for both gas and diesel applications with specifically tuned coils for both engines. This system more than doubles the factory front travel to 9.6” with the Carli supplied bump stop drops. Removing them would cause contact with the front end parts. Carli carefully designs their systems to maximize every inch of travel possible from the factory suspension with the smallest height increase possible. 9.6” of travel from a 2.5” lift is pretty impressive!
Enjoy watching your videos. A dealer out here in Houston convinced me of the Carli product and am eagerly awaiting the suspensions systems for 2019 6.2 L gassers. I think he actually uses you to buy their products. I am debating on the complete Commuter vs Backcounty. I will be primarily driving street/highway but will drive a little off-road when I can (nothing serious like what you have in California unfortunately). Will the Commuter give the most comfortable road-ride? Is the Full Progressive Leaf really that bad to go with versus the Add a Pack? If I go with 37's, how much trimming should I expect to do (pay for)? If this is too much to answer, I can call your offices. Keep up the great videos!
_Look at my comment, I posted for my 2019 F250 6.2 level kit bits from here and few other places. Ask I can help to, they helped me in buying the right stuff._
Happy to help! If you ever have questions, feel free to call. We have a few shops in Houston that we provide parts too, but Woodlands does a great job. Between the two, both will offer a very similar on road ride, but the Back Country will excel in the dirt. Because those shocks have reservoirs, Carli is able to add in more damping, which results in a more controlled ride through bigger holes or compressions. Our recommendation is always to go with the bigger shock package if you’re torn between two. If you go with the lesser, you’ll always wonder how much better the performance could have been and it’s easier and cheaper to just do it right from the start! As for leaf spring options, the full pack offers a substantially better ride at the price of a 15% decrease in payload. The add a pack is a decent improvement from stock, but retains full payload. The full pack is only possible with the Back Country though, since the Commuter shocks are tuned for the add a pack and factory leaf pack. As for trimming, give this video a watch for a general guide. You’ll likely have to do less than what’s shown: ua-cam.com/video/XvyGHcNwrbw/v-deo.html
Because 2020 truck lifts 3.5” in front, will the truck sit nose high? What do you recommend to keep slight rake, short of the Deaver add-a-pack? On 20 trucks, will a larger rear block be included, or rear shock provide a little lift?
For anyone interested in this kit with a 2020 truck - truck from the naked eye appears to be close to level, but will be sitting actually nose high by about 1/4”. If you want the slight rake, I’d recommend either doing the add-a-pack or purchase the rear block from the 2019 and older trucks. Kit does not feel (to my butt) significantly smoother than stock, but I’ve only got about 50 miles on the new kit so far. Time will tell. Leaning towards the add-a-pack for the rear to maintain factory payload and smooth out the rear end a bit.
@@SD-bk2uu Thanks for the review. Sometimes I think these guys just notice the ride much more than the rest of us because they do this for a living. I'm leaning towards this kit but am worried about the rear end. I emailed Carli directly and they told me if I wanted 1" of rake then to add 3" blocks to this kit because it sits very close to level with this kit as is, like you said. However, when these trucks are level they actually look nose high to me because of the lines. Also, I have a hard time believing the add-a-pack is able to keep the full factory payload numbers. It's stiff back there for a reason.
SuburbanHobbyist You’re right. I tow a pretty heavy travel trailer, but even unloaded the slight nose high appearance just bugged me, but was exaggerated when towing. The fix for both was adding a set of airlift 7500XL airbags. It raised the rear about .5-.75”, rides every bit as smooth as stock, and really secured the load when towing. As it breaks in, the kit is beginning to settle in more, and absorbs larger impacts nicely. Good luck with yours!
Do you have any pictures or videos of the Carli leveling kits or Backcountry kits on Super Duty's running 35" tires? I really don't want to step up to 37's and am concerned the 35 will be too small in the wheel well.
Who makes the shocks, do you need to use the boot (unlike fox) ,is there still warranty on the shocks if you don’t use boots and % difference in feel from the commuter fox shocks? Just asking because of wait time on the fox. Thanks
Here you go: www.cjcoffroad.com/Carli-Ford-Super-Duty-05-16-Front-Leveling-Kit-p/cs-flvl-sig-05.htm Here’s the version that includes a front track bar and rear shocks like this truck: www.cjcoffroad.com/Carli-Ford-Super-Duty-0516-Starter-System-Leveling-p/cs-flvl-str-sig-05.htm
Zero rub on this truck with some minor trimming that we cover in our “how to trim for 37s on a Super Duty” video. We use a program called ForScan to recalibrate the speedo and TPMS. 👍
ETA on those parts is up in the air. It was slated for 2021, but with COVID disrupting the entire supply chain, Carli has been forced to focus on current product instead.
Wobble on a factory Super Duty is typically related to lack of caster, which is something that most levels at this price don’t address. Carli goes the extra step to include caster shims for that exact reason.
Sadly no since a lot of the ride improvement comes from adding additional up travel with the 2.5” height increase. Your best bet is to just do quality OEM height replacement shocks from Fox.
Do you know the back spacing on this sweet ride. I'm in the process of ordering wheels through you guys and I'm not sure if I should go 5" or 5.5 BS with 0 offset. (37"X12.5X20R.) thx
Great video - I visited your site, but I couldn’t find the “ Carli signature leveling kit” - I have a 2012 F250 2WD - I’m looking for a nice system to raise it up 2.5” to maybe 3” so I can fit 35” tires on. My truck is 2” lower than standard 4WD F250s. I mainly use my truck fir towing and moving people. Can you please share the link to find the right system for my 2WD application to bring it up to the correct stance to support 35” tires.
It’s a small difference, but remember that shift puts extra stress on the already weak factory track bar joints. We always recommend doing a track bar if possible when lifting the truck.
No because the system on this truck uses an adjustable length track bar with massively improved joints and strength compared to factory. It costs more than a drop, but it’s the right way to do it!
Been wondering on all the videos you have posted I have not seen a innov8 17x8.5 with the 5.75 backspacing. Wondering if 37/1250 would work without trimming with a level. And with the steering stabilizer and radius arms will it clear and not rub on the inside. Reason I’m wondering I want to run mudflaps so can’t trim.
If you want to run a 5.75 backspace Innov8 on a Ford it’s mandatory to add the Carli fabricated radius arms and torsion sway bar since that spec will rub the factory Ford arms and sway bar. It’s the perfect spec for the Ram trucks though and might work for you to clear flaps as long as you’re okay going with the extra Carli parts to make it work.
CJC Off Road thanks for the response I was thinking the 8.5 wheel with the 5.75 backspacing might work perfect or stocks with 315/70r18s with the sway bar and radius arms
I'm interested in this setup but I have a few questions. First, my truck is a 2020 4WD F250 but I have the 7.3L gasser. Will this setup still work? Also, I assume that since this kit can be optioned out, without options, is everything still geometrically correct after installation and not create premature wear on stock components as a result of NOT purchasing any of the available options?
There is a gas specific version of this kit available on our website! As far as options go, a sway bar end link or drop is required. The other selection we like to recommend is the Carli adjustable track bar. After those two items your truck will retain perfect geometry and have improved ride.
Not this exact system, but Carli does have a different version for the Ram trucks! www.cjcoffroad.com/Carli-Suspension-2014-Ram-2500-Fox-Leveling-Kit-p/cs-dlevel-14-d.htm
Love these vids! I have a question, the wheels that I ordered are 17x9 with a -12 offset (4.5” BS). 2019 Platinum F250 with a leveling kit. I want to run 37x12.50R17 Toyos. How bad did I mess up with this offset?? Lol... I can buy a 4.5 lift if I need to or higher. Thank you!!
Like Alex said, you’ll be able to pull it off with a heavy trim and a bumper spacer. These Fords have a ton of room in the wheel well. Your specs are the absolute limit for fitting 37s though!
*UPDATE: For anyone that ordered 17x9 with -12 Offset... After following the CJC Trimming video directions, everything fits really well with tons of clearance. Click on the black truck to the left and you can see how these monsters look installed.
I have a 2020 F250 gas 7.3 w/20's. How will this system ride with say 295 65 20's vs going to a 17 or 18 w 35's, I prefer not to go to 37's on this truck cause I am on the road 90% of the time. I am very interested.
@@CJCOffRoad I just wanted to let you guys know how pleased I am with that set up. I did start with the 295 65 20's on the factory wheel and the ride was very improved. I later than went with 37 12.5 20's on a 9" wheel and keep the pressures at 44 rear 50 front...very pleased best riding truck I have owned. I will be getting a 24 and probably going to a back country or better system on 18's.
No the Commuter is going to be a sightly better ride. This is meant to have performance that’s just a hair behind the Commuter, but at a very affordable price.
No these are Carli’s specifically tuned shocks, which are produced for them by Eibach. Almost the same price as 5100s, but they offer a much better ride.
Significantly. The Tremor suspension has gotten a lot of hype, but is essentially the same as a 2017 Ford F-350. The factory shocks and springs are nothing special!

Is this kit available for the 6.2 engine trucks? I know that the stock spring rates for them are significantly different than the springs built for the diesels.
_Smart man, and I just posted my build and what I used in the comment section too. If you have any questions please ask. They help me in a couple of spots for buying what I needed when I bought a lot of things from them. I can let you know too._
Yes! Carli has a gas specific coil and shock tune that’s completely different from the diesel systems to account for the change in weight up front. Just select the gas option from the drop down.
I have a 2018 F-350 6.2L gas that I plan to add the 2.5” level kit or suspension and same wheel setup. Do y’all recommend any additional tuning or specifics to accommodate larger tires?
What components would you recommend for a level. The level kit and track bar at minimum ?? I want to level my 2020 tremor but want to ensure it’s done properly.
They can with the right wheel specs and a little trimming. We recommend 4.75” to 5” backspace on a wheel no wider than 9.” The link to the kit is in the video description, but we just added it to the comments too! If you want to see the trimming process, check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/XvyGHcNwrbw/v-deo.html
CJC Off Road I’m not a fan of trimming. The trucks I have 35’s I’m running Carli 2.5 Pintop and the ones with 37’s 4.5. I’ve never ran 40’s but some say you can on 4.5.
Are you guys making any kits for the 2021 superduty? Mine should be coming in about 2 months and definitely want to put on one of your kits! Are you guys looking for a guinea pig for the 2021 kits???
i must be tripping..... pretty sure you said it starts in the 6 hundo range and i went to your sight and it looks like starting price for a diesel is 890 dollars..... what would be the downside of not upgrading the trac bar?
Pricing varies based on the year truck, but the track bar is necessary for correct geometry up front, but if you’re trying to save money you can skip on it.

Will this setup (aside from shocks, obviously) work with the Pintop system if I get it now and decide to upgrade later?
Yep! All the base parts are the same for this and the pintop system, so it's a perfect starting point.
Do you have any pictures or videos of the Carli leveling kits or Backcountry kits on Super Duty's running 35" tires? I really don't want to step up to 37's and am concerned the 35 will be too small in the wheel well.
We’ve got a few on our Instagram!
Who makes the shocks, do you need to use the boot (unlike fox) ,is there still warranty on the shocks if you don’t use boots and % difference in feel from the commuter fox shocks? Just asking because of wait time on the fox. Thanks
I believe the fox commuter system is more comfortable on everyday driving than these carli shocks but not by much. Not 100% sure
Do you have this type of affordable lift/leveling kit for a 2000 f250 4x4 powerstroke? Thank you for your reply and/or any suggestions.
Sadly no. Those trucks use leaf springs front and rear so it's a completely different design.
@@CJCOffRoad thank you gor your response.
This fit 21 f450?
Are you guys considering doing something for the half ton trucks?
Nathan Booysen Carli’s specialty is solid axle truck, but they do have suspension for the 09-18 Ram 1500 trucks.
I’m confused. Your video said around $600 but the link you provided has it listed as $1045?
Believe it or not, that's how much prices across the industry have climbed since we posted this. Metal and materials pricing have skyrocketed.
Hello, I am on the website and I do not see this package for my 2011 F350. Can you please send me a link.
Great video! I hope to get this soon.

Does anything rub or need to be cut “front fender” radius arms with 37s and how do you fix the speedometer
Zero rub on this truck with some minor trimming that we cover in our “how to trim for 37s on a Super Duty” video. We use a program called ForScan to recalibrate the speedo and TPMS. 👍
How soon will you have stuff for the JL/ Gladiator
ETA on those parts is up in the air. It was slated for 2021, but with COVID disrupting the entire supply chain, Carli has been forced to focus on current product instead.
@@CJCOffRoad thank you for what you do for the off-road community!!!
So, I just picked up a 2021 Tremor. How would this change my set up?
Here's a video where we put this same setup on our brand new Tremor! ua-cam.com/video/7m02rgzwuCg/v-deo.html
Does it address the death wobble problem??? Lifting a super duty makes wobble much worse.
Wobble on a factory Super Duty is typically related to lack of caster, which is something that most levels at this price don’t address. Carli goes the extra step to include caster shims for that exact reason.
sweet thanks
Any offerings for stock 2020 height? Parking garage at work will become an issue raising 3.5". Might have 1.5-2" ability.
At that level you might as well just through some 2in. BOTTOM coil spacers on it.
These are 4.75” backspace, 0 offset wheels that are 8.5” wide. 5” backspace is the perfect number for new Fords though!
@@CJCOffRoad Thank you as always!

Do you guys do GM 2500’s?
Great video - I visited your site, but I couldn’t find the “ Carli signature leveling kit” - I have a 2012 F250 2WD - I’m looking for a nice system to raise it up 2.5” to maybe 3” so I can fit 35” tires on. My truck is 2” lower than standard 4WD F250s. I mainly use my truck fir towing and moving people. Can you please share the link to find the right system for my 2WD application to bring it up to the correct stance to support 35” tires.
Sadly we have nothing from Carli that works on the 2wd Fords!
@@CJCOffRoad - total bummer. Thanks so much for your reply to let me know - it’s very much appreciated.
Curious how far offset the front axle is without the adjustable track bar.
It’s a small difference, but remember that shift puts extra stress on the already weak factory track bar joints. We always recommend doing a track bar if possible when lifting the truck.
Would I be able to fit 37x12.5 tires with stock premium 20’ inch alloy wheels ?
What would you recommend for the F250 7.3 V8?
The same setup!
What about DRW trucks?
This fits DRW trucks as well!
is this kit available for the F150? i have a 2016 f150 supercrew
Sadly Super Duty only!
Is this system still available at the $600-$700 range
www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/carli-2017-ford-suspension-systems/products/carli-2017-ford-super-duty-front-leveling-kit
Is there no need for a track bar drop bracket?
No because the system on this truck uses an adjustable length track bar with massively improved joints and strength compared to factory. It costs more than a drop, but it’s the right way to do it!

Which system rides better on the road, this or the Commuter system?
If you do the rear add a pack option, the Commuter will ride better.
@@CJCOffRoad If I choose the add a pack with this shock configuration what will be the affect to ride quality?
What is the offset of wheels of this setup
Do you have to run the covers for the shocks?
No you don’t.
@@CJCOffRoad thank you for the quick response. Last question. With this setup, could I run a 20x9 wheel with a -12mm offset with 37" tires?
No the most aggressive wheel spec you can run is 0 offset. Stay away from the negatives!
@@CJCOffRoad got it. So how about a 20x10 with a 0 offset? Will that work with this kit on 37's?
No again the width of the issue. You want to go no wider than 9.5” with 0 offset and 4.75” backspace to clear 37s on a level.
Is this still available at that price range?

I have a 2020 f250 would this kit effectively being a 3.5” cause it to squat, I want to level and run 35s but hate squat
No it will sit perfectly level on a 2020.
Thank you!!
your good just need some trimming and maybe a bumper spacer
Alex Morales Appreciate it Alex, I will look into a spacer kit! Trimming will be worth having a little offset.
Like Alex said, you’ll be able to pull it off with a heavy trim and a bumper spacer. These Fords have a ton of room in the wheel well. Your specs are the absolute limit for fitting 37s though!
CJC Off Road Thank you! I will get the hack saw out now 😂 ( I’ll order y’alls 4.5” lift instead!!)
*UPDATE: For anyone that ordered 17x9 with -12 Offset... After following the CJC Trimming video directions, everything fits really well with tons of clearance. Click on the black truck to the left and you can see how these monsters look installed.
How many degrees are the caster shims that come with the kit?
2 degrees
Rhinopkc Thanks bud. Not sure why the video poster couldn’t respond considering I was first to ask a question, but he responded to others.

I have a 2020 F250 gas 7.3 w/20's. How will this system ride with say 295 65 20's vs going to a 17 or 18 w 35's, I prefer not to go to 37's on this truck cause I am on the road 90% of the time. I am very interested.
Simply put, the more sidewall you have, the better the truck will ride! Our vote would be for the 17" or 18” with 35s combo.

Do this shocks ride better than the commuter fox 2.0?
No the Commuter is going to be a sightly better ride. This is meant to have performance that’s just a hair behind the Commuter, but at a very affordable price.
Are the shocks Bilstein 5100?
No these are Carli’s specifically tuned shocks, which are produced for them by Eibach. Almost the same price as 5100s, but they offer a much better ride.
Is this kit better than the tremor package?
Significantly. The Tremor suspension has gotten a lot of hype, but is essentially the same as a 2017 Ford F-350. The factory shocks and springs are nothing special!
man you aint lying about these upgrades being dramatic. like Hitachi vs. Bilstein is night and day. You would think the big 3 would have adopted these upgraded suspension designs.... but they have not and I wonder why.
What does this kit do for towing capacity?
Towing and payload is unchanged with this since it retains the factory rear leaf pack!
I have a 2018 Ford F-250 6.7 diesel 4x4 I would love this set up on my truck. Where are you guys located and could you put this set up on my truck. My location is Temecula, if doing this would it void out any warranty that I was able to get when I purchased the truck last year.

I have a 2019 GMC 2500 Savana van. Do you have something to lift and improve the ride and handling?
2 years and the price has already doubled?!?
CJC to really nail it needs to add actual data of before and after ride quality.
What actual data do you recommend them to add lol?
37’s on a 2.5 lift? No rubbing issues? Btw you can now put clickable links in the comments section.
They can with the right wheel specs and a little trimming. We recommend 4.75” to 5” backspace on a wheel no wider than 9.” The link to the kit is in the video description, but we just added it to the comments too! If you want to see the trimming process, check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/XvyGHcNwrbw/v-deo.html

i must be tripping..... pretty sure you said it starts in the 6 hundo range and i went to your sight and it looks like starting price for a diesel is 890 dollars..... what would be the downside of not upgrading the trac bar?
Pricing varies based on the year truck, but the track bar is necessary for correct geometry up front, but if you’re trying to save money you can skip on it.
I can put 20 inch wheels and 37 inch tires to this kit.
Absolutely! To fit 37s on a Super Duty, we typically recommend around a 5” backspace number. 0 offset to +12 offset on a 8.5-9.5” wide wheel is ideal.
