I started following you right when you made the big move to Idaho. I am floored by how much you have accomplished in such a short period of time. Simply amazing! We have a mountain property we will be starting development on in the coming spring and watching how you have put your property together so quickly gives me massive hope that we will be able to do the same. Thank you so much for taking us all on your values driven journey! This is still by far my favorite channel.....

I began watching your channel when you were still in WA and deciding whether you should wait or go ahead and make the move. So much has happened, you have accomplished so much since deciding to make the leap.
Your community cares so much for your family. The support translates to continued financial gains which we all are able to witness and live vicariously through. Realization of your dreams means so much to you and now also to the community that backs you in any way possible. There are such caring folks in this world and believing that provides even more incentive to jump on the bandwagon. Your family set out to fulfill dreams and so much love has developed along the way. I hope you are as proud of yourselves as you deserve to be.

Their love and determined enthusiasm has never wavered🌹. The toy drive is amazing, look forward updates. Your barn is FABULOUS
At our barn we planted hedges all around the out side to keep the horses from damaging the siding of our barn. We also used weed cover cloth to keep the weeds away. The hedges we bought have different flowers on them which makes the smell beautiful. Also the hedges keep away a lot of snow drifting around the sides in winter. We love it. Maybe you can look into this idea.

Awesome accomplishments again this week - hay taken care of and out of the elements (thanks to the young men who helped), doors on the barn, fencing posts installed, zucchini bread made and my favorite time of the fall ... apple picking (and did they look wonderful)! Sad to know that the first frost is right around the corner and then "that" time of year. Praying you all have a blessed week and viewers - if you can, please help out their annual drive .. it means so much to the kids and their families. ❤❤

Ah, not so fond memories of hay baling season, except our hay mow was atop the main barn on our farm. We had to use an elevator designed for processing whole ear corn to give the bales a lift into the mow, but after the bales arrived, carrying and stacking them in a close space that was hot and humid was quite the effort. Is it any wonder that Midwestern farmboys make for good, strong football players?

For what it’s worth… fencing - get some smallish rebar and weld it along the outside edge of the auger. It will immensely extend the life of the auger bit which you won’t realize is being worn away until you discover how small a hole you’re drilling. Second, put post in hole, kick a few inches of dirt around the post, the cement and the water. What is created is dirt at the bottom to allow water to drain away and a ‘honeycomb’ of cement which also assists with drainage.

I don't care what people say, putting post's in whit dry concrete and adding water works fine

They put up those large doors fast. Always nice to have some pro help to get things wrapped up.
Simple but great idea for the barn floor to keep the hay dry.

Listen to this man. I am officially the help. I have moved hay, built fiance taken down the fence, and put in a gate LOL wrong once FYI don't let your horse near the post before the concrete cures. But I love my wife and wouldn't Have it any other way.

Wow. Another well-told story. The sequence of shots of Melissa entering the pantry, leaving and turning out the lights, and walking back to the stove.... Impressive attention to detail. Much appreciated.
